BreakupText, An iOS App For Breaking Up Via Text Message

Now you have an iOS app to break up with people. I like the premise of BreakupText more than I like the app itself. First, it's $0.99, which is like, what a slice of pizza or a topping of a pizza at a bar that gives you a slice of pizza with every drink, so, OK, that's fair. What this app does is it takes you through a few steps where you tell them if was a guy or a girl, the stage of the relationship (casual or serious) and then you have three options for the end of it: you lost interest, you met someone else or you were eaten by a bear.

After you are done with your choices, you are taken to your contact list on your phone to place the message in its way. Hit send, rinse and repeat.

There's also a web-based version of BreakupText, if that's what you fancy.

Is it worth your dollar? Well, if you can't come up with a decent excuse to break up with someone, then yeah, it's better than sending a simple "I'm not into it."
