When asked, I tend to say my fave bands are: Little Mix (saw The Last Show For Now... livestream 15/5/22 (NZ time) ), Bastille (saw them 23/1/20), Halestorm (saw/met them 5/12/15, saw them + Devilskin + City of Souls 3/1/17, found Lzzy's signed hidden pick 14/3/19), Paramore (saw them 13/2/18), and Marianas Trench. i feel. like on a fundamental level. i do not understand x reader fic. i am not exactly opposed to it because let a thousand blossoms bloom etc. but like. i genuinely don’t get it. it seems like the exact opposite of how i engage with fiction. like the whole point is that i’m not in there. i don’t wanna be in there. if i’m in there it’s going to be very stressful.

it's kinda comforting to me when my friends are a little annoying or longwinded or abrasive or tired and inarticulate, or they don't do the exact politest thing in every interaction, and stuff, because I know I'm sometimes annoying, or take up a more than my share of conversational space, or forget to ask them questions, etc etc, and... like, I'm always working to be nice to my friends and to get better and better at friend-ing, but it just makes me feel more human about it :}
