The flower slowly looked up tears steeaming down his face. He didn’t even care about being seen at his most vulnerable moment.

“What do you want? I don’t need any of your pity. I’m the bad guy, you’re not supposed to feel bad for me. Just…go away.”

Truthfully he just wanted someone to comfort him, but he couldn’t feel compassion so there was no point.

He should’ve expected this. Nobody would fall for that trick unless they were as friendly as Papyrus. But there was no point in keeping up the facade anymore.

Flowey glared at her, thinking for moment. Confusion and annoyance were the two things he felt right now.

“What, are you dumb or something? How do you not know what you are? You look human so lets go with that, and since you don’t know who Frisk is, you obviously don’t NEED to know. And uh…what'cha got going on with your soul there?”

He sighed in relief, he didn’t like being known as Asriel, Prince of the Underground. He would prefer just being known as Asriel or some stupid nickname. However he wasn’t just gonna give away his name that easily.

“My…my name? Y-yes my name, it’s uh…Flowey…my name’s Flowey. It might seem like a weird name but don’t think about it too much. Pleasure to meet you Lilac.”

Well he wasn’t completely lying. He just hoped that this stranger didn’t know an actual Flowey.

The flower had been sitting there for some time now, quietly sobbing. Through his moment of sadness though, he hadn’t noticed the human approach him as he muttered things like ‘stupid’ and 'idiot’ under his breath.

Oh, it was that weird skeleton. He looked a little different this time though. In most of the pacifist timelines he’s been to, that Mystery Man was the only one in the Underground.

“Hey, what’s your name? I uh…i’ve seen you before but I can’t remember your name.”

Hopefully this Mystery Man didn’t recognize him as Asriel, keeping a low profile was probably best right now.

The Flower began to laugh evilly, like what the goat had said was the funniest thing ever. He wasn’t really scared, he could have just sunk back into the ground to run away but only if it was really necessary, plus he’s no coward.

“Look, I really don’t care whether you believe me or not. I’ve already got one Asriel as an ally, I can live without another. Also, i’m sure you’ve done your fair share of bad deeds, so don’t act like some sort of holy saint just because you aren’t me.”

He assumed that most Asriels had gone through the whole Flowey phase.

Ah jeez. This isn’t what he expected.

“Hey hey, calm down there Azzy. Look, MY Asriel is the Asriel from my timeline. He ended up erasing my timeline after Frisk gave up on trying to stop him. Well, somehow we split up and now i’m my own being. Weird right?”

The only downside in his opinion was that there was no way he’d be able to become Asriel again since they split.
