Bani!! It's Kena-chan. I'm invading your tumblr hihihi. Just wanted to remind you that you are very lovely and so is your art!! You add so many different tones of blue, brown, gold, orange etc... How long does it usually take for you to make a piece? Do you add each individual color, or you blend it? Lots of love!! And take care of your wrist or I'll worry more :c <3

Imay try to explain how I paint, it is very simple!

an example when I do less sketchy lines… but I usually start with linework in general

I only add a few colors of choice on a separate layer that I like, I love to use grayish and dark yellow colors and only bright/flashy colors to give accents later.

I only used the normal brush tool of Paint Tool SAI 2 ( I really love how SAI blends the colors… it mainly determines my art actually and I build around it)

I’m not sure if I changed the settings of the original brush for blending, so here are my settings (( ;^p^))

after that it is just adding normal, but mainly darker brush strokes for details with very little or controlled blending on a few areas and that’s it! (I often use the color picker tool for faster drawing, but it is also more interesting to use greenish blue-grayish colors to imitate cold shadows)
