Well, if you want to die, sure. This one- (he holds up a larger case with a smaller frog in it) -only kills you about half the time! He's having a good day, you can hold him if you want!

She takes the smaller frog from the case, cradling it in her hands
(His smile drops, and his face and voice become dead serious.) Trust me, Blue. You don't wanna touch that frog.
Anyways, that one you're holding is named Jeremy! (He grins again.)

She makes kissy noises at the frog like one would do a cat
(The frog stares up at her with its beady eyes and begins emitting some foul smell.)
Oop, that's his toxic fumes! If you inhale them, they'll kill you. Even you. Actually, especially you! Jeremy here feeds on the supernatural. (He takes the frog from Blue and drops him in his case.) He's a cute one, though, isn't he?
WHA- THERE ARE FROGS THAT DO THAT?!?!? WHY WOULD A VAMPIRE RESEARCHER HAVE THEM?!?!?
I mean... yeah? (He says this as if it's common knowledge.) There are tons of mana-feeding animals out there. Don't tell me you've never come across a seeing-eye owl?? They're blind. And any good researcher can put himself in danger for his profession!
Solar turns the corner, obviously looking for something.
