        “Yea, I guess so,” he said.  Magic was the main reason for all their troubles.  For his sister, Elena to be a doppelganger, the Mikaelson’s becoming the original vampires, for him becoming a supernatural hunter.  Eyes maneuvered over to Bella and he nodded.  “A little of both, but most of it was originated from here,” he said.  “Sounds like one of the Salvatore, he tried that, didn’t really succeed.”  He laughed.  “Yea, that stuff doesn’t work on them, but the stake to the heart does.”

Bella listened to Jeremy as she could only think of Edward, being in this town, hearing the stories and reasons how it all occurred made her blood run colder than her scar, his voice ran through her head as she looked down at her mud-covered shoes, rubbing them further into the dirt. “It worked for Edward, he hadn’t had human blood for almost a century. To kill them, you have to rip the body apart and burn it. Harder than a simple stake and I assume sun burns your kind of vampire too?”

“You’ve WHAT?” Caroline squeaked in indignation, eyes widening as she looked at the brunette. Not that it was any of her business or anything. But seriously? “You should definitely stay in Mystic Falls then, we’ve got hot guys and they’re MORE than willing to uh, fix that little problem for you.” She smiled, taking a sip of her drink and giving a suggestive waggle of her brows. “Just stay away from Damon.” Bella’s words made her blush slightly and Caroline’s smile softened. “I know we just met but, I’m here for you. If there’s one thing we know how to deal with, its heartbreak.”

“Edward, was old fashioned.” She whispered, it was the truth, they were never intimate and it pushed Bella to a few different edges. It was something she never openly told anyone, yet this blonde was getting emotions out of the vampire girl that no one else had as of yet. Not anyone in Forks or Mystic Falls. “I’m staying here to finish high school and maybe see what I can do for the rest of my life, I prefer it here to Phoenix and Forks that’s for sure.” Holding her cup closer she nodded in understanding. “Okay.” She was tempted to seek this Damon guy out but she was going to stay against that urge for the moment, maybe Alice could see she would damage herself further and force her back to Bella. “Heartbreak is a bitch.”

   “You could take a hedge clippers to his man-parts,” She offered, flashing Bella a bit of a smile to show that she was kidding. Mostly. “They’re really protective of those. And, you wouldn’t kill him. So, dual purpose, he can be alive to beg for your forgiveness.” The more she thought about it, the more it must have SUCKED. At least Tyler had had the decency to say goodbye before he froze her out. “Look, you’re gonna be okay. I know it sucks right now, but…I can tell you’re strong. You’re a badass. And you’ll get through this.”

“I don’t know how well that would work.” A vampire penis may be different from a human one. “It’d be the first time I’d have seen the parts anyway.” She was still sour he kept intimacy away from the human girl, sighing softly with hands pushing through her hair, she knew that Caroline was right. She could make it through this heart ache, but it was going to take a long time for the brunette to properly understand and see this for herself. “You wouldn’t mind helping me, make it through and all you know? New town, a big heart break, I kind of need someone, and you seem really nice, Caroline.”

            Her lithe form moves slowly around the girl, each movement carefully calculated. “Poor Bella, all alone. Wandered away from the Cullens, huh? You must have a death wish, don’t worry, I’m all too happy to oblige.” her high pitched, mocking, voice comes from snarled lips.

Bella stood in the middle of the paddock, she didn’t know what to do but shut her eyes and let the wind brush through her brunette locks. “Victoria, how do you know I’m all alone?” Bella asked softly, she had the wolves watching her every move when the Cullen’s weren’t with her.
