No, you can’t “interpret” Fords and Bill’s relationship to be a non-abuse situation.

I’ve been scrolling in tumblr for awhile and I’ve been noticing a lot of you peeps treating it as a power-balanced situation, as a situation where both of them are “equally” toxic for each other.

Remember, I don’t have anything against Billford or any of you guys. This is a respectful call-out.

While I don’t have anything against “toxic yaoi”, or interpreting their relationship as romantic, platonic, whatever. I do have a problem with erasing the previously established dynamic in the book where Bill mercilessly exploited Ford to get what he wants, the portal. Where Bill is the aggressor in the realtionship, where Bill is the one who destroyed it all. Bill is absolutely an abuser, was intended to be one and clearly displays all the signs of an abuser in the realtionship.

Please stop treating or drawing them as if they were just a couple who had a rough fight when that’s clearly not the case.
