Having just seen the man deal with what would have probably been a group of attackers, Reginald had decided to approach the other man, intending to check if he was planning on chasing down the group later. He did get the feeling that there was something different about him however, but he couldn’t quite figure out what it was.
“They didn’t give you too much trouble did they?” he asked. “The folks here have been on edge for weeks now, and they’re not taking too kindly to strangers.”

what a miserable land. the clutches of darkness had its claws embedded so deeply in the land. even the fauna screamed out to him. his midnight quest to heal even a bit of the land was a failure. not even he could heal even a small portion of the forest. so he just started walking, eventually happening upon another, looking just as somber. “ penny for your thoughts, stranger. “
Reginald was startled for a brief moment, as he hadn’t heard the other’s approach, but upon looking up he relaxed. “Nothing for you to be worried about, friend,” he replied. Even if he told him, he doubted that he would be able to help him. “What are you doing out here at this time of the night?”
Saying farewell to all you’ve known, you set out on your journey to retrieve an artifact for the Empress Ifritah.
