Personal Head canon: On occasion Adrian will still suffer from a bit of spirit crazy. Times when he was feeling down, Hannah would take him by the hand, lead him to her room and then they would lie down and she would read to him. Caroline would watch from the doorway silently as they read until they fell asleep.

Who cooks: Caroline, although Adrian likes to stand in the kitchen and watch her, or as he says, ‘help her’.

Who does the laundry and other chores: Both, Caroline makes him do stuff like wash the dishes and he bitches and moans about it, but will gladly do it to keep her happy.

How many children do they have: None. She’s technically dead and all… AU: Two girls and Adrian complains that he’s surrounded by females, but he secretly loves it.

Who’s more dominate: Both have their moments. Although Caroline can be pretty demanding…

Favorite nonsexual activity: They love going out, anywhere and everywhere to do anything. They love partying and being spontaneous. They’re each others partners in crime.

Their favorite place to be together: Caroline will say somewhere sweet like the park, Adrian will shamelessly say bedroom. Caroline just blushes and looks down, because she agrees.

Any traditions: I don’t know for this one… Not really. It’s more that they just go out and do random activities a lot. They’re not really ones for tradition.

Their “song”: Caroline says it’s ‘Howlin’ For You by The Black Keys’ because it was playing when they first met. Adrian just stays silent, smiles and rolls his eyes because, ‘of course she would say something that cheesy’ and that he ‘doesn’t even remember what was playing when they first met’. He does though, and it wasn’t that song, it was another, but he never corrects her.

What they do for each other on holidays: Caroline gets really into all the festivities, while Adrian takes it as an opportunity to drink a little more than usual, eventually getting persuaded into decorating or baking in his intoxicated state.

Where did they go for their honeymoon: Brazil, they wanted to go somewhere a little crazy.

Where did they first meet: At the Grill in Mystic Falls. Caroline had just broken up with her boyfriend and was out for a girls night. Adrian tried to hit on her and buy her a drink, but she wouldn’t have a bar of it. They ended up talking and very soon were best friends.

Any pets: None, they’re both a little too unreliable to have one.

What do they fight over: Adrian’s vices (alcohol, cigarettes) sometimes. Caroline’s stubbornness. They don’t really fight a lot though.

“Definitely a necessity.” He agreed with a grin, making a show of not being able to stretch those long legs of his properly, it caused some of the water to spill out of the bath. Once they’ve started kissing, he couldn’t see himself stopping anytime soon, each collision of their lips one drew him in for another in what seemed like an endless cycle. “You know this reminds me of our first kiss.” Water, heart racing, those precious lips of hers and the warmth of their bodies — definitely jogged up beautiful memories.

He could feel the rise of temperature on her skin and his own, coming up close to the lukewarm water they were submerged in. He circled his thumb over her pinked up cheek, green eyes looking at her appreciatively, and biting his lower lip once she assumed that position over his waist. “I approve of this method.” Hands traveled down to her full rump, securing her as she remained straddled on him.

“Except hopefully I’m not going to be covered in sand any time soon.” There was a tiny grimace at the memory of the weeks spent afterwards finding tiny granules in random parts of her body. Besides that, it had all been perfect. The jump, the warmth, the passion. Felt like it was yesterday rather than three years ago. “Yeah? Big spa bath with room to move?” She suggested, grin at full brightness as her delicately shaped brows waggled. Her lips were barely an inch from his, even when she was talking it was like they couldn’t stray far. Like some weird magnetic thing. A small shiver ran through her, the patterns he was tracing tickling her ever so slightly and flushing her body with heat. Blood rushed to her cheeks, painting them pink with the warmth she was feeling. Her lips hovered by his before she was catching them again, shuffling so that she was straddling his waist. “Think I figured out the best relaxation method.”

Not that he was being demanding, but his body responded to the warmth of hers like he was finally home, now submitting to the fact that he missed this, just being naked with his future wife. They’ve been so preoccupied with preparations that they rarely find time to even rest in their bed, the pile of brochures always invading the space.

Tomorrow, he reckoned it’ll be back to that same routine, and even if he didn’t mind, he was keen to make this evening last. She needed more of these relaxing moments, and god how he needed her like this. Even just like this. “That’s right. I’ll fall apart, obviously.” The vampire murmured against her lips, “I’m not worried. You’re here, that’s all I can ask for.” Adrian reciprocated that kiss with an equally languid kiss yet searing enough to pour his heart on it. “I love you, Sunshine.” He tightened his arms around her, sighing softly in her mouth at the soothing feel of her warm skin and the water.

The more she focused on the feeling of being pressed against him like this the more her body warmed and her thoughts went to... Certain things. Talk about getting side tracked. But could she really be blamed when she had that hunk of a gorgeous man cradling her in his arms? Caroline shifted so that she was turned toward him as best as could be in the space the tub had to offer, lips never leaving his for a second. “I love you, Adrian.” Widened blue hues looked into his emerald and she grinned wide, her fingers tracing down his abdomen.

“My mistake.” Adrian chuckled. And don’t he know it. She’s always the girl that never gave up, wasn’t she? One of the million reasons he fell in love with her. Again he took a brief moment to appreciate his future wife, from the brightness of her eyes, the significant glow on her skin as the warmth of the steam came to play. His eyes didn’t waver when she began peeling her clothes off that he had to blink back to reality once she asked if he would sink in with her.

He didn’t answer with words but only with a quirk of his brow, followed by taking his clothes off. “Wow, I appreciate the concern about my well-being. We can always make up for it in a dream. No sunburns there whatsoever.” Although part of him was saddened they won’t have bright sunshine on their honeymoon, he was still hauled back up by how she easily worked things out. He can already picture her plan and it seemed amazing. Adrian dunk into the water, sliding just behind her and cradled her frame between his legs, and he made a mental promise to give her the bright and sunny honeymoon, even in a form of a hassle-free spirit dream. “Sounds perfect. What would I do without you and your organization skills?”

It was nice to have his bare skin on hers like this. She’d been a little too absorbed in preparations as of late and hadn’t stopped to appreciate the little thing. Like how safe she felt lying back in his against him, his arms wrapped around her slender frame. “Probably be a crazy hermit in an art studio.” She answered honestly, turning back to smile teasingly at him before capturing his lips for a kiss. “Don’t worry, everything will be amazing.” Her promise was just a murmur against his lips before she deepened it, her tongue pressing against the seam of his lips.
