Caroline’s body was in pleasure overdrive, every single inch of it humming and burning in response to each touch from him. God, why had she been denying herself this again? They were engaged to be married, they should be at it like rabbits, she had just been getting too caught up in all the preparations to enjoy this side of it. Well, now she was deciding she was done ignoring everything but her meticulous plans. “Missed you more.” Caroline whispered, gasping as her sensitive nipples got even more attention. 

“C-caroline, I-” Words were getting difficult to enunciate as pleasure started to take over. His wits were slowly submitting to that ecstasy, and just a fraction wondering why the hell they weren’t doing this as often as they used to. Back then they were ravenous, almost insatiable when they were first dating, but then he could only say it’s because they were too preoccupied by the meticulous planning for the big day.

But god, how his body responded to finally halting such deprivation, like he was thirsty for weeks and she was water. Caroline huffed a little, foot stamping on the ground as she pouted and looked around their room like the surroundings had personally offended her. “I lost my ring.” The one her mother had handed down to her, not her engagement ring, which glittered proudly on her finger still.

Adrian canted his head to the side, hands immediately on her shoulders when he noticed the frown. “Which ring?” It was his immediate question, and he held back the sigh when he saw the engagement ring still glinting on her finger. At least they can eliminate bad luck before their upcoming wedding day. “Oh.” Then it sank in to him which ring she was talking about. “Did you try the washing machine? It has the habit to hoard a lot of stuff.”

The blonde rose up again, this time positioning herself above his length. “Meant this way.” Her lips were pressed against his forehead, then his nose and finally his lips as she waited for him to pull her down onto him.

Besides that, it had all been perfect. The jump, the warmth, the passion. Felt like it was yesterday rather than three years ago.  She rose up off of his lap, fingers threading through his short locks and gripping them tenderly as her lips were brought to his again. “Need you.” It was barely discernible, words breathed into his mouth as she deepened the kiss, her hips rolling - it was easy to ignore the slosh of water over the side of the tub when she was wrapped up in her own desires.

Yes, getting rid of the sand after rolling and making out on it was quite an unforgettable challenge. Has it really been three years? And it sank in how much they’ve been through together, all the forces that dared to separate them and never won. Caroline does have the nick of perseverance, and he rode that drive with her. He has done extraordinary things that he didn’t know he was capable of until he met her and fell in love with her. 

A low groan ensued as she gently bunched his chestnut locks, always a favourite gesture, eyes fluttered shut as the kiss got even more intense, his hands now wandering allover her soaked frame. “Y-you have me.” He breathed warmly into her mouth, arching his hips to keep up with her gyrating.

Who cooks: Caroline, although Adrian likes to stand in the kitchen and watch her, or as he says, ‘help her’.

Who does the laundry and other chores: Both, Caroline makes him do stuff like wash the dishes and he bitches and moans about it, but will gladly do it to keep her happy.

How many children do they have: None. She’s technically dead and all… AU: Two girls and Adrian complains that he’s surrounded by females, but he secretly loves it. 

Who’s more dominate: Both have their moments. Although Caroline can be pretty demanding…

Favorite nonsexual activity: They love going out, anywhere and everywhere to do anything. They love partying and being spontaneous. They’re each others partners in crime.

Their favorite place to be together: Caroline will say somewhere sweet like the park, Adrian will shamelessly say bedroom. Caroline just blushes and looks down, because she agrees.

Any traditions: I don’t know for this one… Not really. It’s more that they just go out and do random activities a lot. They’re not really ones for tradition.

Their “song”: Caroline says it’s ‘Howlin’ For You by The Black Keys’ because it was playing when they first met. Adrian just stays silent, smiles and rolls his eyes because, ‘of course she would say something that cheesy’ and that he ‘doesn’t even remember what was playing when they first met’. He does though, and it wasn’t that song, it was another, but he never corrects her.

What they do for each other on holidays: Caroline gets really into all the festivities, while Adrian takes it as an opportunity to drink a little more than usual, eventually getting persuaded into decorating or baking in his intoxicated state. 

Where did they go for their honeymoon: Brazil, they wanted to go somewhere a little crazy. 

Where did they first meet: At the Grill in Mystic Falls. Caroline had just broken up with her boyfriend and was out for a girls night. Adrian tried to hit on her and buy her a drink, but she wouldn’t have a bar of it. They ended up talking and very soon were best friends.

Any pets: None, they’re both a little too unreliable to have one.

What do they fight over: Adrian’s vices (alcohol, cigarettes) sometimes. Caroline’s stubbornness. They don’t really fight a lot though.

Do they go on vacations, if so where: Anywhere. They like to shake things up.

Personal Head canon: On occasion Adrian will still suffer from a bit of spirit crazy. Times when he was feeling down, Hannah would take him by the hand, lead him to her room and then they would lie down and she would read to him. Caroline would watch from the doorway silently as they read until they fell asleep.

"It hurt too much and I just... I snapped. I turned it off. I didn't hurt anyone, but I just didn't feel anything. Apparently keeping my humanity off is harder than I thought though, I couldn't keep it away." She hummed softly and fiddled with his shirt, her lips moving against his chest as she hugged him and spoke.

 “You turned your humanity off because you think I was—” He couldn’t digest that. He never wanted that to happen to Caroline ever. He cupped her cheeks tight with his hands and locked her eyes in a gaze, “I don’t want you to do that.” He frowned, “You’re the most /human/ vampire that I have ever known, don’t put that to waste just because I’m gone… You handled it well for a while even before you met me…”

“Yeah? Big spa bath with room to move?” She suggested, grin at full brightness as her delicately shaped brows waggled. Her lips were barely an inch from his, even when she was talking it was like they couldn’t stray far. Like some weird magnetic thing. A small shiver ran through her, the patterns he was tracing tickling her ever so slightly and flushing her body with heat. Blood rushed to her cheeks, painting them pink with the warmth she was feeling. Her lips hovered by his before she was catching them again, shuffling so that she was straddling his waist. “Think I figured out the best relaxation method.”

“Definitely a necessity.” He agreed with a grin, making a show of not being able to stretch those long legs of his properly, it caused some of the water to spill out of the bath. Once they’ve started kissing, he couldn’t see himself stopping anytime soon, each collision of their lips one drew him in for another in what seemed like an endless cycle. “You know this reminds me of our first kiss.” Water, heart racing, those precious lips of hers and the warmth of their bodies -- definitely jogged up beautiful memories. 

He could feel the rise of temperature on her skin and his own, coming up close to the lukewarm water they were submerged in. He circled his thumb over her pinked up cheek, green eyes looking at her appreciatively, and biting his lower lip once she assumed that position over his waist. “I approve of this method.” Hands traveled down to her full rump, securing her as she remained straddled on him.

The more she focused on the feeling of being pressed against him like this the more her body warmed and her thoughts went to… Certain things. Talk about getting side tracked. But could she really be blamed when she had that hunk of a gorgeous man cradling her in his arms? Caroline shifted so that she was turned toward him as best as could be in the space the tub had to offer, lips never leaving his for a second. “I love you, Adrian.” Widened blue hues looked into his emerald and she grinned wide, her fingers tracing down his abdomen.

Of course it was his priority to give her the most relaxing bath possible, but with them in such a position, his mind can’t help but drift towards more. She was an alluring masterpiece in his arms, and the entirety of her just drew him in to a point of no return. 

And that smile, that wonderful grin will be the death of him. Adrian kissed that pleasant curl on her lips, an inevitable gasp escaping him at the touch of her fingertips. “One day, we’ll need a bigger tub.” He teased, tracing abstract patterns on her thigh and lower back, supporting her with his limbs as much as he could to make her comfortable.

It was nice to have his bare skin on hers like this. She’d been a little too absorbed in preparations as of late and hadn’t stopped to appreciate the little thing. Like how safe she felt lying back in his against him, his arms wrapped around her slender frame.  “Probably be a crazy hermit in an art studio.” She answered honestly, turning back to smile teasingly at him before capturing his lips for a kiss. “Don’t worry, everything will be amazing.” Her promise was just a murmur against his lips before she deepened it, her tongue pressing against the seam of his lips.

Not that he was being demanding, but his body responded to the warmth of hers like he was finally home, now submitting to the fact that he missed this, just being naked with his future wife. They’ve been so preoccupied with preparations that they rarely find time to even rest in their bed, the pile of brochures always invading the space. 

Tomorrow, he reckoned it’ll be back to that same routine, and even if he didn’t mind, he was keen to make this evening last. She needed more of these relaxing moments, and god how he needed her like this. Even just like this. “That’s right. I’ll fall apart, obviously.” The vampire murmured against her lips, “I’m not worried. You’re here, that’s all I can ask for.” Adrian reciprocated that kiss with an equally languid kiss yet searing enough to pour his heart on it. “I love you, Sunshine.” He tightened his arms around her, sighing softly in her mouth at the soothing feel of her warm skin and the water.

“You’re forgetting about my willingness to perspire.” He had already read her Miss Mystic Falls application so there was no need to be too embarrassed about that little gem of a declaration. Besides, his ass was stuck with her, no matter her terrible rhyming skills.  The bath looked amazing and Caroline sighed at how amazing everything was he had set out - from the amazing scent of the bath oils to the candles lighting up the room with a warm glow. She really had gotten lucky with this one. “You’re getting in with me right?” As she spoke her clothes were coming off, the hot water calling her name. Her face lit up as he asked for the plan, grinning at him as she sunk down in the water. “Okay, so I figured sunny beaches and tans were off the menu, so some investigating happened and then I found this adorable little vineyard. They have a gorgeous area in among the gardens that is set up for nights mostly. Cheese platters, fruit, wine and a cute little cottage for us to consummate our marriage over and over again…”

“My mistake.” Adrian chuckled. And don’t he know it. She’s always the girl that never gave up, wasn’t she? One of the million reasons he fell in love with her. Again he took a brief moment to appreciate his future wife, from the brightness of her eyes, the significant glow on her skin as the warmth of the steam came to play. His eyes didn’t waver when she began peeling her clothes off that he had to blink back to reality once she asked if he would sink in with her. 

He didn’t answer with words but only with a quirk of his brow, followed by taking his clothes off. “Wow, I appreciate the concern about my well-being. We can always make up for it in a dream. No sunburns there whatsoever.” Although part of him was saddened they won’t have bright sunshine on their honeymoon, he was still hauled back up by how she easily worked things out. He can already picture her plan and it seemed amazing. Adrian dunk into the water, sliding just behind her and cradled her frame between his legs, and he made a mental promise to give her the bright and sunny honeymoon, even in a form of a hassle-free spirit dream. “Sounds perfect. What would I do without you and your organization skills?”

“You are known among the people for your modesty.” Caroline muttered sarcastically with a teasing smirk, which quickly broke out into a full blown smile as he kissed the corner. Her hand came up to cup his cheek as she looked him over affectionately. He had such a bad case of foot in mouth syndrome, nearly as bad as her. “You’re a pretty close runner up.”

A small appreciatively moan left her at the tiny amount of pressure his fingers provided on her tense muscles - there was definitely a need for a full body massage. “Hm?” She’d gone off into her own little world and it took her a moment to come back. “Oh… You’re right. Did you have any ideas?” Of course she was only asking out of practiced courtesy. They both knew she’d known the details of her honeymoon since she was six.

“I try.” He teased back, smiling wider instantly when she did -- her gestures of bliss always enough to infect him with full-blown mirth. Leaning his head to her touch, he hummed in content, “Yeah, I can live with that. Together we’ll rule the world with our aesthetic prowess -- and your superb leadership skills.” He always loved pointing out her significant bullet points in that good old Miss Mystic Falls resume.  

The sound he just elicited by the gentle press of his fingers only drove him to do more, but that can wait, the steam a reminder that there’s a warm bath deeming to be utilized. “Now soak in the bath and that’ll soften these muscles. You work so hard, baby. I’m proud, but also worried.”With a chaste kiss on her neck, he presented the bath all aromatic with lavender and chamomile. “Ooh I was thinking--” He paused, briefly catching the glint on her eyes. “Really,’shine?” He smirked, and there’s no need to check her aura to know she’s got it all planned out. Of course she has. With a wrinkle of his nose, he canted his head to the side and got curious. “Okay, so what’s the plan?”
