Okay, so we get that it’s a tourist trap in a place you’re actually living in, but seriously, there’s actually some really cool stuff here at the Shack, which is definitely a legitimate establishment and not a couple of kids leaning on some familiar tricks to make a quick buck out of giving cheap tours of our house. Trust us.

Why do you think you make a good match for the Mystery Shack™?: Always love seeing the out there stuff. The more magic and occult stuff I’m around the less out of place I feel. Plus, I’m a damn good talker. I lead an army of Demons after all you should see how I can convince people. But more than that have you seen me on CittaSlam? No one draws a crowd like I do. Well, except maybe the actual fighters. Also if the power ever goes out I can probably summon something to keep the lights on so that’s good for business right?

Anything else we should know?: I’m kind of the first martyr from the story of Cain and Abel. Also a Demon. King actually, Demon King. I can show you some if you want. I also started a war against God back in my world so I may or may not have very angry Angels coming after me at some point. I will pay for any reconstruction that needs to happen if so.

Why do you think you make a good match for the Mystery Shack™?: I know a lot about demons and otherworldly things of that sort. I’m loud, which means that if I promote the place, people will have no choice but to listen. And I’m great at planning events. I won’t do the heavy lifting on actually setting up the events, but trust me, I’ll plan mystery-related parties like you’ve never seen! I once threw a costume ball so grand that a few people died. Er… not that death is a regular Trancy-related occurrence. Promise!

Anything else we should know?: I’d appreciate tolerance for a nineteenth-century sense of style. Look, I’ve never had a proper job before, but I managed an entire estate! I can do promotion and parties for your business!

Why do you think you make a good match for the Mystery Shack™?:  I’ve seen the tabloids around this dump, you people eat the idea of ‘little green spacemen’ up like you’ve never seen anything like ‘em before. It should be pretty obvious why I’m signing up for this. 

If you don’t need me for my good looks, though, I’ve got experience fixing tech. Repairing whatever artifacts you clods manage to break should be too easy for a Gem with my experience.

Anything else we should know?: I’m not completely up to date with human technology yet, so bear with me if it takes a few hours minutes to fix something. Also, I don’t want people touching me.

Why do you think you make a good match for the Mystery Shack™?: I’ve done fortunes before. It was for a club I’m in, but I got a pretty big crowd. I’m good at it and even in my current state I can still come up with some pretty good fortunes based on what I catch from their thoughts. And they’re usually accurate. 

And I’m both weird and mysterious, since I’m psychic. I can’t hear everyone’s thoughts right now, but it’s still weird and perfect for the Mystery Shack.

Anything else we should know?: I’ll need a purple blanket, please. I don’t really want people to see me and I can use the blanket to hide most of my face. And please don’t let it out that I’m psychic.

I have several skills that I believe would be best suited for this field of work. These skills involve the following:

Experience with customers. I successfully held several jobs before I came to Hive City, most of them involved customer service. This includes working in a cafe as a waiter, working behind a counter at a small trinket shop, and working in a day care with children.

Physically capable. I’m able to work labor-intensive jobs, like heavy lifting, great hand dexterity, and quick reflexes.

Why do you think you make a good match for the Mystery Shack™?: If it’s a salesman you’re looking for, then look no further! As the proud owner of my own town, I’m plenty used to entertaining crowds and convincing them to see things from my point of view– a talent which I suppose is mandatory for a position like this.

Public speaking and marketing is something of a strong suit of mine, and I’d be happy to contribute my efforts towards biggering the shack’s capital gain. You can count on me!
