Aside from the...probably required...stunt mention ("rumored fiancé")...the writer talking about how he met Harry....at Matt Irwin's funeral. That part seems SO real and SO Harry Styles core. He feels things.. especially loss...VERY VERY deeply. And whoever said they think Matilda is about Matt....I 100% agree.

I don’t know what writer or article you’re referring to. Can you share a link? But yes, I’ve long thought Matilda is about Matt. It seems pretty clear to me.

Thank you to everyone who sent the link. Most of the article is a summary of stuff from previous interviews, but it’s still very nice. And she touched on a few really important things about him (IMO): that no one ever had a bad word to say about him, that he scheduled the residencies— in part — because of people on his crew/in the band who have young children, and that despite not looking like it, he works really fucking hard at everything he does.
