Hello 2016! First post of the year and I feel good about it! Firstly, there are around 25,000 of you who follow or pop along to check out this page and I don’t think I’ve ever said thank you! So Thank You! Whether you’re a dedicated follower or just a fleeting visitor, I totally & completely appreciate it.
Truthfully I didn’t start this blog for you, I started it for me. An outlet for my creative mind and a place to archive ideas & inspiration. So I absolutely love that you also enjoy it.
2015 was a rough year for this little micro blog. As small and easy to manage as it may seem it still takes commitment, dedication & energy. There is often a Lot of procrastination which eventually makes for poor or rushed decisions (or no decisions at all! ie no posting!), however the few minutes that I do dedicate to this blog I truly enjoy and so I consider that time well spent. It’s five minutes where I can remove myself from the (often mundane) routine of daily life to find a little bit of inspiration. So for 2016 I’ve decided to set myself a challenge. I want to post everyday for 366 days (yes 366 - It’s a leap year!). One post a day and five minutes of time well spent, everyday for a year. That my friends is commitment and dedication….. and I expect you all to give me Hell if I start to slack!
