Why I like Tumblr.
Do you like tumblr? Why/why not? Do you prefer a different social media website? What website could also be used to do this type of school assignment?
Out of all the other mainstream social media websites, none of them clearly represent the artistic and smart behaviour of the users. Unlike Facebook with its disgusting lay out, and twitter with its complexity, Tumblr makes it easy for beginners and easy to get used to blogging.
Was this tumblr assignment good, or would you have preferred writing your responses in a journal in class time? Why/why not?
This assignment was much better then sitting in a dull classroom with little opportunity to talk to friends and share ideas. We even are able to read up about anything we want in the period.
What changes would you make to this assignment for next time?
None, it's great as it is.
The best thing about Gsad and i think most people will agree is meeting your friends in a daily basis. But the thing that i want to change is the food, it is getting repetitive each year i would’ve to bring back the old food that made our lunch better than what it is now.

GSAD
1) What is the best thing about GSAD?
The best thing about GSAD is its highly qualified and professional teachers who contribute a lot to make sure us students have a great school year and successful studies.
2) What ONE thing would you like to see improved at GSAD?
I would like to see the easing of tests and quizzes since compared to western schools, we have little to no time for enjoying our social life indoors and outdoors.
3) What would you change about English class this year?
Nothing as it is already perfect.
4) What would you like to do more of in English class?
More discussions and readings of the Piano Lesson in the class.
5) If you were Principal for one day, what one rule would you change at GSAD?
I'd allow all electronic devices, since I don't see how they can affect students in the classroom.

This scene shows how after long quarrels and injustice, the piano player lightens the atmosphere of the negative household, and try to show how good justice can be if they give it a fair chance with each other.

A scene of injustice would be when Berniece accuses Lymon and Boy Willie of stealing the truck. Of course Berniece accuses them without evidence and simply uses the assumption, she does not ask for their side of the story which is also injustice at its finest. Lymon claims he bought it but Berniece does not want to listen, so Lymon is being treated vert unjustly.
My cast for the Piano Lesson
Boy Willie, one of the most important actors of the play. I chose him because he has a lot of issues with Berniece about the Piano, the main problem of the story. His role has a lot of emphasis on reputation, which I think is needed to make it not so dull.
Berniece, is also a main character. I chose her because she bases everything off justice when facing Boy Willie . She also likes to treat Boy Willie harshly.
Doaker, is also a main character. He likes to socialise with Berniece and Boy Willie. He helps fix issues between the two. He doesn't like to circle jerk and prefers to help both sides of the situation.
Social media has completely revolutionised the way people view each other and also provided people with ways to research others personalities using their social media account. Because of this it also allows for easier communications between people, without using a mobile phone.
Social Media has also provided a way for people to see what others are doing, and let them know how they are. It's also a place for people to gloat and discuss anything and ways for each other to share personal images and experiences.
The news have also taken advantage of the Social Media, news agencies can upload and keep their profiles up to date on world related issues. Social Media has also made internet movements possible, such as the #FreeOurGirls movement in which people showed support without needing to leave their homes and commit to public protest.
Why was the story written ?
The piano lesson is a novel published in 1987 Pittsburgh, America. It consists of characters that range from the Bernice to wining boy. This book is about a large amount of educated (African American) people who their numbers increased after the great depression.
I think the novel is written to show how this talented, educated people struggled and worked really hard to show the world how they are people and we are all equal
I agree with this opinion, as the author clearly wanted to show how his people, African Americans, tried so hard in their honest work to prove themselves equal and how they struggled to fit in their society which was beginning to merge with that of the other ethnicities of the USA.
Five jailed for theft.
Five men have been jailed for breaking into a mobile phone shop and stealing Dh1.6 million worth of smartphones and tablets as well as Dh500,000 in cash.
Four have been sentenced to three years in prison and the fifth only three for he only carried the loot. They will also be deported from the country which is a good thing because our country doesn't need thieves like these who go around breaking into shops and steal equipment and money to hurt our country's infrastructure and social standing. Justice has been served to these robbers.
I chose this quote because in my opinion it represents justice to its full meaning, that all people, no matter colour, ethnicity nor age and gender, all be treated equally by justice.
This photo represents an African American playing a piano despite the discrimination and ethnic hate shown towards them during these times. I believe this would be a suitable cover picture.
Why the Piano lesson was written.
The Piano lesson was written by August Wilson to tell the world about the discrimination to the african americans during his time. When he was in school he wrote an excellent paper report on Napoleon, and his teach could not believe that an African American could write so well, so she accused him of cheating, and even the principle back the teacher up.
Wilson dropped out of school and educated himself in the public library where he began to write plays. The Piano Lesson was one of those plays in which he discusses the harsh and merciless behaviour towards African Americans and how they used to live with that.
