This picture represents my viewpoint of justice in the book piano lesson which has been a great influence on my learning of opinions this year. the picture stats that Justice is blind while its dog -here which represents racial discrimination- sees all and guides it. This was a case in much of the world for a long time many countries were just plain out racist and they based many decisions on ethinicity and background rathar then the actions of the convicted. Thus this year I have realized that justice like many other things is not black or white it is grey. a blend of both fairness and reputation making our systems of judgement very questionable because if no body stops a discrimination and nobody steps in to stop an act of injustice would the world go on? Would nobody bother stopping unfairness unless everyone things it wrong? These are questions that history have already answered but its our job to analyze so they are not repeated. Because who ever someone is, he or she deserves equal justice because justice is for all even the unfortunate.
To some people, the comment in the picture seems obvious enough to be called stupid, but that isn’t why I posted this. Regardless of how simple it is, it has a great meaning behind it. You see when we talk about justice people think of outside wars and threats but they don’t consider that the might have a hand into it. When a corrupt individual in a society tries to get his way across, he corrupts who ever is around him causing the whole society to rot. Now imagine what a corrupt government would do. They would twist the law, enslave the people, and subdue all other nations to their desires by giving them an imaginary enemy and then convincing them that following them would protect them. Once the government is completely corrupted the law will be as effective as leaf inside a hurricane. Justice does not only mean equality and fairness, but also honesty and truthfulness to everyone regardless of who they are, what did they do and what did they become. That is what I learned.
I agree with Ahmed Corruption is a very peculiar problem in our society everyone knows what it is and how it is caused yet finding a solution to the problem is seemingly impossible. Everybody realizes that corruption reduces the reward of hard work and talent with the money stakes or old reputation of your family. Thus even knowing that it is morally bad people continue to participate in it because if you are rich then you definitely don't want to lose that position and the idea of losing it to someone who has less resources to you is just disastrous to the person. Thus men and women around the world have caused great actions of injustice and unfairness by using there reputation to gain access to certain abilities even if the act is small enough as paying the officer some extra 'pocket money' to avoid a huge fine.
This image shows the growing of justice through people. Naturally, as human beings we strive for justice. However, some are misinformed and become misguided and lose our way of life. Throughout this assignment, I have learned that the people of this world have the power to fight for justice. We the people of this world have the duty to make sure that other people in this world are treated justly and fairly. Mahatma Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” This supports the idea that as individuals, we have the power to change the world for the better and help those around us. We must fight for a new world, a world free of injustice, a world free of inequality, and a world with unalienable rights for every human being on the face of this earth. This picture best represents what I have learned during this assignment because it shows how all people are alike and are born with justice within them. The brown stem represents the hands of one person while the colorful leaves represents the hands of many others who grow afterwards. In my opinion the hands flipped backwards such as those at the bottom represent people who have become evil. We must guide these people back on track and make sure they stay on a positive route for the rest of their lives.This tree of hands may seem so small but its meaning couldn’t be bigger.
Thank you Mrs. Shannon and Tumblr for giving me an assignment that truly opened my eyes. The lessons I have learned in this assignment will stay with me forever and I will use what I have learned to benefit myself and those around me.

How has your opinion of social media changed doing this project? Some people look at social media in a negative way- how can you argue that it can be useful AND educational?
My opinion on Social media has definitely gone in the positive direction which is caused by the new kind of experience and ingenuity that this project has given me. As a result my ideas about the use of Social media have changed in comparison to the start of the year. Some points that have changed are the uses of it in education, it enables a more close and interactive classroom letting us share point of views in our spare time and also through any medium. Now I believe that, not only is the modern culture fortunate to have social media, but also the teaching and learning world. Both these subjects; teaching and learning require a standard amount of interaction and sharing that would cause chaos in a normal classroom but when the ideas are being shared without speaking a single word the transfer is a lot more peaceful enabling clearer transmission of instruction and information. Thus arguing against it is very similar to the argument that guilds with apprentices and masters are much better then a classroom, an argument made in the middle ages. When the world around education evolves so does its content and once the content has evolved then the evolution of it means of transmission is eminent.

This quote represents two attributes about the setting the first of Wining Boy's opinion and second about things that are possible in their time.
This quote tells us that Winning Boy has probably experienced or witnessed such act taking place, where a person holding a property goes back on his commitment and thus fools the original buyer. That is also why it is clear that because of these possible experiences his opinions towards the selling party become very biased and one sided.
This quote also tells us about another thing that is that white people in this setting could be very unreliable and may dish out fake promises that they are not able to fulfill causing suspicion and disbelieve to many buyers and business associates.

I would choose this music for Act 1 scene 1 because of the different components of it. This music has a lot of ups and downs that correspond to the ups and downs of a developing plot. This music has a cheerful beginning corresponding to the cheerful beginning to the book. It also has a dark and gloomy part which would supplement Stutter's ghostly apparition nicely thus this music would increase the effect and drama of the book making it more interesting.

I like the Tumblr assignment due to its openness and interactive results. In this medium our creativity is mingled due to its collaboration with the works of other students this is also the cause of many new point of views that are born as a result. Tumblr is also a very easy to use medium making it perfectly compatible with our needs of writing detailed and creative pieces of works.
Was this tumblr assignment good, or would you have preferred writing your responses in a journal in class time? Why/why not?
I loved this new method of preparing and distributing our work because it was very creative and helpful for our future. First of all it allows us to sharpen and hone our english skills along with praticing old skills. But most importantly it prepares us for a future where typing is the most common source of information transfer.
What changes would you make to this assignment for next time?
its perfect just like our teacher. but unlike our teacher it has a slight flaw that it rejects its students

I think that all grade 10 boys should understand and implement respect more then anything. Before modernisation respect was a very key ingredient to the welfare of our society and has proven its worth throughout many tests. This is a value that has become rusted and rugged out as time went on. Sons don't respect fathers, fathers don't respect mothers, mothers don't respect daughters and sisters don't respect brothers this is a cycle that starts in a family and spreads out to the ever more connected world. Thus this is a very important trait the everyone should portrait.

Piano lesson is a book that cherishes the african american culture in respect to its past and in relationship to the future. Thus it demands an increasing amount of creativity and imagination to empathise and understand. This is a trivial task for many, due to its need for a connection with the african american environment in a way that is hard to do without witnessing it. Thus it is a famous book in its home country but a hard task for a outsider to cooperate with.
Thus the movie version of this book helps the inexperienced connect to the book by witnessing and looking at it unfold in front of his eyes. This helps even the people who can understand the book understand it better due to this I think that the movie adaption of this book is done well and helps us understand it better.

I agree with Moath's point of view as it represents the hard facts of our modern day culture. Many of us see visual representations of a book more often then reading the book this happens due to many reasons the most important reason is time. In our metropolitan world time is an essence that is considered more valuable then money, thus it takes less time to watch a movie when compared to reading a book. The result of the phenomena is that movies have to often twist and manipulate many aspects of a book in order to appeal to a greater crowd of viewers. Another reason is patience and imagination I personally like to think of a book as an imaginary movie that plays in our head and I like to visualise the scenarios that are happening as I read along, thus books are more interesting to me because it takes a certain degree of patience to read a book cover to cover. Thats why movies are more famous then books
But there is another side to this relationship which makes it cooperative rather then opposite. Movies help raise awareness to capture readers. It is a hard known fact that books are more detailed and compact then a movie thus if a reader would watch a good representation of a book as a movie it will urge him to hunt the book and read it to enjoy the full fun.

The GSAD community is enormous thus change in many cases can be slow and time consuming using up time that may be very valuable to a club or a new idea. Thus i would like to see more powers in the hands of individual principals making large scale events more efficient.

I am pretty sure its a crime to have such an awesome teacher.

More reading and open discussions would make the class more socialised in its point of views

I would give more power to large groups of students and allow more openness towards new ideas.
