I'm working on compiling reading vlogs just to have a place to put my book commentaries (and remember wtf I actually read lol).

DIY garland progress (I keep adding new links every day for a few hours at a time until I’m done!)

1.5” x 7” strips of cardstock

- I used double-sided tape at first and that’s how the links fell apart

- I changed over to hot glue and it’s been holding a lot better

same recipe as my chocolate crinkle cookies only 1/4 - 1/2 cup more of AP flour to temper the purée humidity (keeping it from running thinly) ++ 1 egg yolk

next time, I might add more pumpkin spice to bolden that fall-in-your-mouth feeling.

I also added a little bit of instant espresso powder to bolden that warm, spicy pumpkin flavor

can't wait to get out the autumn deco and bake some pumpkin crinkle cookies for the fam.

I'm known for my chocolate crinkle cookies, but this year I really wanna try baking pumpkin ones. I am most worried about the texture because pumpkin puree is high humidity, so the cookies might run a little too thinly.

I also want to make date-butter-tahini-maple waffles from scratch and pair it with hot chai tea.
