also i finally watched project hail mary at the cinema and as a cinema snob all i have to say is: what a beautiful, life affirming experience. did i get vertigo and nearly have to ask my boyfriend to call for first aid? yes, yes i did. did my jaw ache for the rest of the night because of how hard i tried not to cry during *that* rocky scene? yes. did i eventually just unleash the tears at the end? yes. did i laugh a shit load? yes, yes i did. sometimes it’s okay for a movie to be purely entertaining, sometimes it’s okay for a movie to be over optimistic, sometimes it’s okay for a movie to just exist to make you feel good. what a beautiful thing i was so happy to experience with my loved one; laughing, crying, sharing kisses and snacks. and for that i give it a very firm 10/10.
