Leafs Fan: Make CN Tower Biggest Playoff Goal Light
Toronto is abuzz with the Maple Leafs heading to the NHL playoffs for the first time since 2004 – so much so that one fan has started a petition to turn the CN Tower into the world’s biggest goal light. Scott Booth has a petition circulating that would have the CN Tower light up red (wouldn’t blue make more sense?) every time the Maple Leafs score in the playoffs. He estimates more than 3,000 supporters have signed their names to the list after three days...Booth estimates it would take about 50,000 signatures on the petition to get the attention of CN Tower officials.

First Kiss - Because It's The Cup
dunno why this isn’t circulating tumblr yet, so. pure respect.
Every home game we’d win, it was a huge party outside. Couldn’t actually get home, because Yonge Street was just piled up; nobody moving, everybody was just with flags outside, running around screaming, knocking on the windows. I was trying to hide in my car, because people were walking and traffic wasn’t moving. They were knocking on the windows, with flags and stuff, screaming. And I was like, ‘Oh my god, if they find out I’m inside, you never know what could happen.’
Alexei Ponikarovsky on the last time the Leafs made the playoffs
Obviously, he's one of the best goalies in the League and everybody has an off day. It's just what happens. We've all games like that; the best of the best who have played the game over the years have all had tough games. He had his tonight and at the same time; we got a few lucky bounces. I'm sure it's no big deal to him.
