Caterwauling Charm

The Caterwauling Charm lets off a large screeching noise when someone enters the area it was cast on. The screeching does not tell the exact location where the charm was triggered. It is likely you can set the charm to only apply out doors. The incantation for this charm is not known. The etymology of The Caterwauling Charm is not know either. In the later chapters, when Hermione, Ron, and Harry apparate to Hogsmeade, the Caterwauling Charm set by the Death Eaters was set off. Luckily, Aberforth Dumbledore pulled them off the streets. He claimed he had let his cat out and set off the alarm.

Assignment #3 A summoning charm is a charm used to bring an object that is at a distance to the arms of the witch or wizard that cast the spell. Although, the further away the object is, the harder it is to summon. And you must know the general area of the object in order to summon it. Some uses from this charm are: -Harry Potter in the Goblet of Fire, when he summons his Firebolt in order to complete the first task (dragons). -Molly Weasley in the Goblet of Fire to find the magical sweets (puking pastiles, Nosebleed Nougat, etc.) from Fred and George Weasley before going to the Quidditch World Cup. -Hermione Granger, in the Deathly Hallows, tried (but failed) to summon Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem and the Helga Hufflepuff's Cup. The charm is Accio (ah-kee-oh). In Latin the word "Accio" means "I bring" or "I summon". So, for example, in the midnight premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, I will say "Accio tissues" which mean "I summon/call tissues."

A Summoning Charm is a charm that allows a witch or wizard to summon an object to them from a far distance. It is commonly said that the object you want to summon can not be too far away, or the charm may not work. Others disagree, however, claiming that as long as the object is clearly in your mind, summoning it should be easily done, no matter how far away it is. This is, of course, controversial. This charm is useful when in need of an object, but unable to get to it (or if you're just lazy and don't feel like walking to the kitchen for the bag of crisps). One example of a successful casting of a summoning charm is when Harry Potter used it to summon his broomstick to escape the Hungarian Horntail during the Triwizard Tournament in his fourth year. The term used to cast a summoning charm is Accio. The etymology for Accio is Latin for "I call" or "I summon." Sometimes it can be translated in Hungarian (Invito) as "to invite."

The Summoning Charm or commonly called Accio is a spell or charm used to make a certain object summoned to the caster's hands. When the spell is being cast, the certain object being summoned would fly towards the hands of the wizard or witch who cast it. In order to cast it, the caster must know the definite location of that object by pointing his/her wand towards it. But if it is far away from you, you can summon it by concentrating hard on that certain object, although it would be much harder. To do the hand movement, you need to direct your wand to the direction on where your object is located. Accio is a latin word, which here means "to summon" or "to call". In the Hungarian Language, it is from the word "Invito" which means "to invite". The spell's incantation is Accio which is pronounced as "A-see-oh" or "A-kee-oh".

Often times, the object is at a considerable distance and the spell is used for convenience to bring the object closer. Summoning charm is a charm which summons an object to the caster, potentially over a significant distance. So, like its name tells, it summons objects. You can use it to get objects to your hand easily. The incantation of this charm is "accio"

You need to have the object clearly on your mind when casting the summoning charm. The farther away the object is, the harder it is to summon. But it doesn't matter how far the object is, as long you just have it clearly on your mind and you focus enough, you should be able to summon the object to you. For example: If you want to summon a book, you direct your wand on the thing you want to summon (book) and say "accio book" and then the book flies to your hand.

"accio" is Latin, and it means "I call" or "I summon".

I'm Professor Mark Garcia, teaching Charms. I'll expect students to attend this subject regularly. My class with you is every Wednesdays 5:00pm (+8:00 GMT) and I'll be giving assignment to be submitted on Weekends as well as on Mondays since maybe all of you attend a muggle school. Rowena's daughter, Helena Ravenclaw had ran away from her because she had a broken heart. She had stole her mother's diadam and hid it in the forest or a cave in Albania. After for a very long time Rowena had never seen her daughter again. She had got sick and ask for the bloody barron (he's inlove with Helena) to go find Helena because she wish to see her daughter before her death. But Helena does not wish to see her mother. The Bloody Barron got very angry and killed Helena, then he killed himself.

Helena Ravenclaw is now the ghost of Ravenclaw's house.
