we are so grateful for the many beautiful submissions sent us by armenian girls! your artwork is amazing and we can’t wait to feature it in the zine. it’s not too late to submit--though today, june 8, 2015, is the submissions deadline, we won’t turn up our nose at your work if you submit your photography, poetry, writing, or other artwork to [email protected] in the next two weeks. shoot us a message if you’ve got an idea and want to talk about it, if you want to submit but aren’t sure where to start, if you’re looking to contribute in the future and want to express your interest, or if you have suggestions for future issue themes.

hokis pokis is a collaborative zine for and by armenian girls around the world! we’re looking for talented armenian girls (and, let’s be real, that’s all of them) to submit their art, stories, poetry, and other creations to hokis pokis for our first issue. the theme, in line with our name, is magic and myths. armenian culture is beautiful and diverse, and your interpretation of “magic and myths” is as good as any. all submissions are appreciated!
