Merida moved her hand to her quiver and took hold of another arrow, she didn’t move as quick as him - because she was still taking everything in and listening to his rules, but soon it was notched and the string was ready to be pulled for when she wanted to shoot into the target.

Merida looked towards the arrow that was embedded in her own and narrowed her eyes to perfect her aim. “Ye know whit a like the look o’?” She questioned, as she drew back the bow and looked at the target. In a moment the arrow was flying through the air - head of the arrow sailing right for the feathered tail of Robin’s. “Yer hat.” She replied, just as her arrow pierced through his and caused it to split in two and half fall to the ground. She smirked, pleased with herself. Aye, that would show him.

He watched in silence again as the woman notched another arrow and let it fly. He opened his mouth to make a comment on his hat when her arrow went through his and he watched as one of the halves fell to the ground. His mouth closed a little as he stared at the sight. Now if he thought he had knocked her down a peg she had done the same to him right then. Her first bulls eye was impressive but that was even more impressive. Robin’s men didn’t even whisper as they also looked at the arrow. "Why exactly do you want it?" Robin asked as he looked back at her, trying to hide how that last shot affected him.

Hearing the accent from the woman made Mulan pause for a moment. When she had first spoken she hadn’t realized it as much but now the other had actually spoken more than a sentence to her, she did. It actually took the warrior a moment to figure out what she had been asked. But once she figured it out she smiled more and relaxed. “I would greatly appreciate it,” she said as her smile grew.Bowing as best as she could in her saddle she straightened while saying, "My name is Fa Mulan…I believe Dunbroch is the place I want to be…" The name at least sounded familiar. "I’m looking for the local king you see. I was hired to guard his daughter."

The local King, the King of Scotland – was of course King Fergus, the Bear King – and Merida’s father. So this newcomer was here to see her father? “Guard his daughter…” She trailed off as she quirked her brows and scrunched up her face somewhat. “… Really?” She asked rather surprised as she looked away from Fa and wrinkled her freckled brow. Her father had arranged for a woman to guard her? “Well ah’ll tell ye one thing, ah dinnae need a bodyguard.” Merida quickly retorted as she pulled on Angus’ reins to turn him around. “Ah’m maybe a princess but ah can dae fine on my own.” Merida turned Angus completely and into the direction that head to Dunbroch. She looked over her shoulder and gave a small smirk.

“Ah’m Princess Merida, first born o’ King Fergus an’ Queen Elinor.” She sighed as she moved one of her hand to bat a stray curl of red from her face. Damn thing, always getting in her way. “Hame is this way.” She didn’t move Angus however. She wanted Fa to process what she had told her.

"Your Highness," she said as she looked over at Merida. “I mean no offensive by telling about my business in your kingdom. Whether you require a guard is not my say but your father’s. However, I promise you that I take my duty seriously and if you doubt in my ability to protect you then put an enemy in front of me and I’ll show you that I can best any man in your kingdom." She had personally been trained by the current General of China and it was her plans that defeated the Huns and protected the Emperor. She just as capable of a warrior as any man in this whole kingdom or so Mulan thought.
