Eight months ago I made a joke post about my return, and disappeared again. Seems about right

Comic is going under heavy editing, and characters are undergoing redesigns! To anyone that may have been following… I died but got my work dragged to hell with me so it’s happening, just not in the timeframe I imagined

Haven’t had much to post on this page alone, BUT I would like to shamelessly promote my main accounts on artfol and Instagram as I am significantly more active there than on the comic’s page or even my main tumblr account. That way you get more updates there as well as more art in general!

Meet Yuliana!

❥ Yuliana, nicknamed Yula, is the spirit representative of the Pagan festival, Yule! Motherly and general soft-spoken, she’s regarded by most of the residents as the mediator. She takes it upon herself to greet any and all newcomers and always gives them tours to adjust to the ridiculously sized mansion. Although friendly and kind, she isn’t a doormat, and will gladly take charge when the time calls for it. In fact, there’s one rule she has for everybody to follow and aggressively reinforces: do not touch the flowers in her garden without permission. If she likes you enough, she might take her there yourself! The only thing is that, over the years, her energy levels have dropped, so don’t expect her to be as lively as she may have been a century ago.

Oh I forgot that tiny updates I usually make on my Instagram story, but Val has a slight redesign (just their skin colour really, it looked way too purple/red for what it should’ve been especially compared to their first design), but they’re still mixed race, just white passing I’ve decided

Meet Jack!

He is the spirit representative of everyone’s favourite spooky holiday, Halloween! Unlike his peers, he’s the only one to not be human to any extent, but is rather a scarecrow. He has a terribly short fuse to the point he can (and has) literally explode. He tends to distance himself from his fellow residents, but to those he’s close to he’s incredibly protective and caring. As much as he enjoys his holiday, he is recovering from a few years of burnout, but is ready to make a comeback in style. He has a strange attachment to Bianca, but if you want to not get 3rd degree burns, maybe you shouldn’t ask him about it.

Meet Joyce!

Xiu-ling, also known in English as Joyce, is the spirit representative of Lunar New Year! She presents herself as stoic and serious, and she is. There’s no witty twist, she just is. She struggles with understanding other peoples emotions, even if she recognises them, and doesn’t really express much of herself. She’s much more street smart than book smart, but she’s certainly not uncultured. She holds people at a distance, but maybe someone can break past the barriers she puts up (without getting punched in the face)?

Meet April! A chaotic young adult that still lives like she’s,,, well, alive. She’s ironically the spirit of April Fools, and is always scheming her next prank. Whether it’s tomorrow, or in ten years, nobody knows for sure when or if she’ll strike. Despite her mischief, she’s significantly smarter than she lets on, but she prefers to have fun and not be too serious. Even if you’re her best friend, just make sure to double check whatever chair you’re trying to sit on

Meet Denaye, mostly referred to as August! A young, selfless, and (almost) fearless young lad, he’s a massive softie at heart and is the embodiment of a German shepherd. He’s the spirit of Anzac Day. He’s always down for fun and a good time, just try to keep the volume down. He doesn’t do too well with sudden loud noises.

Two posts woohoo! The rest of the cast is on the way (oh and by the way, Bianca’s got a new design!! But it isn’t too drastic, you’ll be able to see her once the comic is out uwu)

Meet the New and Improved™️ Valery! Femme edition ;) Still absolutely fabulous, but I hated how washed out and dull their first design was, so i brightened them up!!

Meet the New and Improved™️ Esther! I got an original design as a trade and altered her a bit to make her look more like, well, her!

So,,, characters are getting redesigned to be a little more iconic. Wont redo the current intros I’ve made, but I will post the redesigns on their own!

The next intro might take a teensy bit longer as I revise August’s design
