I'd say it proforms well on both accounts as it is now apart of my nightly routine. I was also very impressed with the samples they included. The Blue Potion muscle rub is a lifesaver! My back seized up on Thursday of last week, we're talking painful and little mobility two things that are not conducive to taking care of a baby & toddler! After icing it & then having a warm bath I remembered I had the sample. I proceeded to rub the painful areas thru the night and by morning the pain & stiffness was reduced by half! Impressed I was! Now when my neck or back starts to tense or ache I'm grabbing for my blue potion.
