"Sure, if you can keep up with me." He gave her a little grin as he just followed along like a good boyfriend pack mule. "Maybe I can finally have hot chocolate. Don't get that out in the desert." Even with the cold nights.

"I can tooootally keep up. I have boundless energy obviously." He may have an advantage with those long legs, but that wouldn't stop her from trying. "Oh right, I guess it never gets cold enough. Then I'll be sure to get the good kind for you to try. With whipped cream and lots and lots of marshmallows."

"To be fair, my goal isn't really to intimidate people. It just happens naturally." He grabbed the shirt in his size and just ambled after her as she started going through the choices.

"Maybe some shoes that won't destroy the concrete every time I take a step." Because his boots were heavy.

"Good idea, maybe something sporty. Then you can join me on some evening runs~" She plopped a few more clothes into his arms as she glanced around for shoes. "It's going to start turning colder soon. Nothing like getting in that crisp air and then relaxing after with a warm drink. All nice and cuddled up for watching a movie to fall asleep to."

That just got a laugh from him. "Maybe a little too cheesy, yeah." He glanced around at the various shelves and racks, stepping over to another one.

"Hmm. What about this one?" And he held up a shirt with a picture of a Bangboo with rabbit ears.

"Awwww, it's kinda cute." She walked over to get a better look. "If people saw you wearing that, they'd probably be less intimidated by you." Looking up at him, she imagined what he might look like wearing matching bunny ears.

Holding a hand over her mouth, she scooted away snickering. "Maybe pair it with a nice light jacket, oh and check out these pants. They got those cool chains on the side."

He looked down at himself at that question.

"Sleeveless out in the desert means sun burn," he said. And then he reached over and flicked her ear. "And you would just spend all day staring at my arms."

"Heeeheeee. So no eye candy allowed?" Her giggles trailed away as she dug through the clothes again. "I mean, you're less likely to get burned wearing it around town. What about this one with a flame design? Or is that tooooo cheesy?"

"The sort of thing people in the Outer Ring get beat up for wearing." Was he joking? Maybe, maybe not. It was hard to tell.

A sigh left his lips as she led the way. If he really didn't want to go out like this he'd say so. He was just teasing her, mostly.

"And just what would you say my 'vibe' is?"

Looking at him, then back to the racks of clothes, she considered that. "Mmmmmmmmmm, you obviously have a cool, bad ass look going with the leather gear." Lifting up a graphic tee, she tilted her head. "All those spikes are just not super practical for every day wear here. Especially when I wanna hug you and they are almost at eye level."

"Soooooo, something edgy, but a little soft.... how do you feel about sleeveless tops?"

It still took some getting used to, being in the city for no particular reason other than spending time with Belle. But with not having to hide their relationship from her brother, it was easier for him to just crash at their place and relax when he didn't have anything he needed to do at home.

Today, for instance, she had convinced him to go out shopping for clothes he could wear while in New Eridu. Admittedly he did stand out with his leather jacket and pants, but that hadn't been much of an issue when he was mostly in and out for errands.

Shopping was exhausting, though.

"...this is the fifth store," he said. "It's all looking the same to me."

"Whaaaaat? No way, this one has way different stuff." She wagged a finger. "I have a good feeling about this store. We're sure to find something to fit your vibe." Belle was very determined about this. He deserved to be comfortable and relaxed when he was here without compromising style.

"Not like you look... bad in other styles. The ones at the last few stores were just like too clean cut ya know?"

“All the times?” His voice had a note of laughter to it as he pulled out of her and tossed the condom. “Well now, you acted so innocent but I guess you’ve been fantasizing about this for a while.”

"Can you blame meee, you're so hot." Granted her material for fantasies was not the best. Super corny novels and online fanfic were different from the real thing. Well at least that wasn’t terrible enough to make him stop all together. “I’m a quick learner if that helps.” She smiled sheepishly. “But hopefully fun for the teacher still.”

Looking down, she swallowed hard. He was… girthy some would say. “Oh, I’m sure it will be easy to tell. But okaaaaaay.”

While she was pulling the box out, Lighter quickly got rid of the last of his own clothes, giving Belle a full view of just how big he was. With the box in reach, he pulled a condom out of it and made quick work of getting it on himself.

"Now... which position you want, huh?"

Jaw dropped when she saw him. It felt like it should be rude to stare the way she was, but he seemed to be showing off on purpose.

“Position….” How many of them could there be? She only knew sixty-nine because of the meme, but that one was maybe a bit advanced for her right now. “The… good one?” She glanced up at him with a cheesy grin.

"Good girl." He gave her another wink. And then, "Now... that assistant of yours said you had what we need to keep going." As awkward as it had been to hear.

"O-oh, of course you would hear that huh?" A little harder to feel too embarrassed about that considering where they were at now. Twisting herself, her hand limply reached for the drawer in her night stand. Pulling up the box and nearly dropping it. "Riiiight here."
