Day 1: Red/Crossover/Before Canon

In the late 1960s, there was a epidemic of runaway teens. This comic plays with the idea that Satou was one of these kids. I got the idea from the line that he faked his age to enlist in the marines; I don’t think his dad had any say in that decision, lol.

Yeah, I drew dad Tanaka again lol. The context is post-series but Tanaka meets someone and has a kid. This time I wanted to draw the other character’s reactions to it. I think one of my favorite things about Tanaka is his relationship with other characters.

Do you think Kaito is an ajin based on how he survived getting shot by Sato?

No - I think the idea is that he was a verge case, but not a true ajin.
