THE MAGIC OF ORDINARY DAYS (2005)
I gave my life away just to be held.
Characters: Raymond “Ray” Singleton and Olivia “Livy” Dunne Singleton
Media: The Magic of Ordinary Days (2005)
Played by: Skeet Ulrich and Keri Russell
Setting: 1940s, Colorado
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Livy Dunne has made the greatest mistake of her life by falling in love with a WWII army officer and becoming pregnant, especially when the father of her unborn child refuses to marry her.
Ray Singleton is a shy, simple farmer who agrees to marry Livy in order to save her reputation and give her baby a family, even though he has never met her.
Ray and Livy’s marriage begins awkwardly and with only basic politeness, but while Ray develops feelings for Livy early, she is still holding out hope that her old lover will come back for her. However, as time goes on and she and Ray grow closer, Livy begins to adjust to farm life and hope for happiness in her marriage. Their fragile love is tested by war tensions, secrets from the past, and the knowledge that decisions will arise soon, but Ray and Livy find strength in one another to do what they know is right.

I may be looking too much into this but in Cinderella 2015, when Kit and Ella first met at the glade, Kit was wearing his green coat and Ella was wearing her usual dress. That was the first time they met. At the end of the movie, Kit (as King) wears the same coat when he met with Ella. Ella, obviously, wears the same dress as before. Now, is this the costume department/movie director/fairy godmother telling us that it's them finally "meeting for the first time?" No more lies and concealed identities? Just plain ol' King Kit (lmao) and (Cinder)Ella? Because if it is, it's poetic and I love it.
