whumpee collapsing into caretaker’s arms…

“it’s okay, it’s okay.”

“there you go. easy now.”

“i’ve gotcha — i’ve gotcha.”

“whoa there. you good?”

“you’re alright. come on.”

“hang on to me… i’ve got you.”

especially when caretaker then eases whumpee down onto the floor (in their arms / lap!), or into a chair or a bed.

caretaker helping whumpee get into a comfortable position.

in bed, maybe. whumpee’s broken limbs are wrapped in plaster casts; caretaker elevates them and helps prop whumpee up on a mountain of pillows.

or in caretaker’s arms. cradling whumpee’s bruised and battered body — cushioning whumpee’s head against the crook of their elbow.

there’s so much love in these gestures. “let me make you hurt a little less,” it says. “let me ease your pain,” it says. “let me give you relief,” it says.

Thinking about a rescuer/caretaker barging in and immediately softening when they see the state the victim is in—skittish, terrified, trying to get away from them.

The immediate softness and compassion of “No, no, I’m here to help.”

or chest. feeling the rise and fall with every breath, hearing a thundering pulse.

in caretaker’s lap. whumpee is so, so, so tired. caretaker runs a soothing hand through their hair and places a kiss on their forehead, and tells them to finally rest.

The caretaker covers the whumpee’s mouth while they hide. They know the whumpee is in pain and exhausted, but they’re both as good as dead if they’re caught.

The whumpee, however, is near delirious and thinks it’s the whumper covering their mouth.

God I love shower scenes

Not the sexy kind, not the kind that's there for fan service

The kind that shows someone at their lowest, beaten, broken down, and absolutely emotionally wrecked

Maybe they're physically hurt and blood is slowly running down the drain but they don't have to be

Just their forehead resting against the tile, maybe propped up with an arm, the thousand yard stare as they process something so far away from themselves

Sitting on the ground, curled up into a tight ball just wanting the water to wash away everything that has happened

It's so emotionally raw and relatable, where someone feels their safest to just break down, to be vulnerable, and I think they're vastly underutilized or just done plain wrong because people can't get nakey = sexy out of their heads

Just imagine a Whumper using steel wool to clean the Whumpee off after Whumper had particularly bad day, imagine the Whumpee just trying not to cry as the steel wool creates small scratches and aggravates all the wounds, possibly even reopening some deep ones.

Imagine the Whumpee after just squirming in pain after while they are locked away, left by themself with the feeling of their skin stinging

(bonus points if whumpee is terrified of the idea of a bath or shower after even with caretaker)

Caretaker who is rescuing Whumpee, but Whumpee is so out of it they don't recognize them.

Caretaker needing both of them to be quiet, and dragging Whumpee behind a wall, holding them down against Caretaker's chest and holding a hand over Whumpee's mouth.

Caretaker feeling Whumpee's panicked fight, too weak to do anything but still trying. Their too fast breathing from their nose, the whimpers that slip through anyway, their hands pushing against Caretaker's arms...

Caretaker feeling so guilty, but the alternative is being found, so there is no choice. Whumpee will know who they are soon and forgive them.

Right?

Caretaker has finally found Whumpee, but they're in a bad state. There is no time to take care of anything right now, and they have to move quietly to avoid being detected.

The whispered "can you walk?" and "lean on me" as Whumpee tries their best to be helpful, and Caretaker half-dragging them through the dark hallways. Whumpees injuries hurt them as they move, and they can't keep the sounds of pain in.

They hear someone coming, and Caretaker quickly pulls them to the side, hiding in a small closet. Whumpee squeezes their eyes closed as they fight the pain of the sudden movement, and Caretaker pushes their hand over Whumpees mouth, apologetic, but needing them to be quiet.

Whumpee leaning forward and dropping their head on Caretakers shoulder as they muffle their groans in their jacket.

Bonus points if Whumpee is usually stoic or closed-off, and Caretaker's heart breaking to see them like this.

tw: non-con drugging,

a defiant whumpee so drugged out of their mind that they'll let carewhumper care for them. whumpee usually kicks and bites and claws when Carewhumper came near them, but now they're laying peacefully in their lap. Carewhumper strokes whumpee's hair as they're too drugged to understand what is happening, all they know is that carewhumper touching their hair feels nice.

Whumpee's sensations are numbed and they can barely move, making it so much easier for carewhumper to tend to their injuries

it's just nice see a defiant whumpee get some much needed comfort

The team is captured and lined up in front of their captors. The most defiant among them, of course, cannot keep their mouth shut. They mock, taunt, and jeer till one captor has had enough.

They grab the whumpee by the throat, asking if they really want to die like this. The whumpee bares their teeth with a defiant smile.

And spits directly in the captor’s face.

“My poor baby. My poor sweet little boy,” I lament out loud over a whole grown adult man who is not mine but is in fact a fictional character with fictional hurts. What matters is my feelings are real

Thinking about a Whumpee being cloned, and that clone being used as a spy in the Whumpee’s team. The Clone living as close as they can to a normal life in someone else’s role.

What would they even do once the ruse was up? It’s not exactly the Clone’s fault, they were basically born yesterday. And the poor, original Whumpee, wondering how their entire team didn’t even realize they’d been replaced?

Would the Whumpee look in their Clone’s eyes with hatred?
