I've talked about this before and I'm not trying to be a hater but like. It's so funny to me when someone decides that a warrior cats character Simply Isn't What They Canonically Are.

Lionblaze is actually a laid-back, gentle guy who never wanted to hurt anyone and certainly never had a god complex. Jayfeather is never unkind to anyone who isn't mean or ableist to him first, and every time he snaps it's completely justified. Hollyleaf isn't sorry for anything she's ever done, she's burning with unquenchable rage and thinks only of murder. If you "interpret" these characters differently (as in... actually read the books), you're a mindless stan/hater who was brainwashed by YouTuber Moonkitti or something.

Actually I'm not done. I just saw someone on the reddit claim that Brambleclaw has never been ambitious or insecure. He's always been humble and earnest and gentle with everybody all the time, and that's why Squirrelflight's Hope is wildly out of character for him and he's never ever acted that way outside of that specific book, so his actions in that book should be stricken from the record and never held against him. I feel like I am taking fucking crazy pills.

It really has just been one thing after another. I've been out of a job for a year and a half, our car got totaled, and we only have another because of my wife's inheritance. Just three months ago we had to say goodbye to our cat Oily because she had lymphoma and now. Val, my baby. My daughter. My everything. Has been diagnosed with feline leukemia.

Not only are we having to pay for all her treatment, but we will have to get all our other cats tested and vaccinated as well.

Visited her today, her fever is gone, and she's gotten her energy back. We were able to get her to eat some. Vet said we could take her home tomorrow morning with some antibiotics.

The cost is going to be around $800 and that's just for her. We still need to get the other tested and vaccinated.

She's finally home, and she's eating again. The vet wants to see her in 60 days to recheck her FeLV status.

She's quarantined to our room until the rest of the cats are taken care of.

Final cost was $841.02.

The FeLV test is $60 and the vaccine is $50.

We have FOUR other cats we will have to get checked.

That comes out to around $440 before sales tax.

For a total of $1,281.02 plus some change.
