I’m just imagining an ep in S3 about him taking her to all these prestigious restaurants so they get more inspiration for their star. And she’s dressed up and he totally forgot to change, but every owner treats him like a prince and he introduces all this big league cooks to her as his…partner.

And it’s shot with this really warm vibrant lighting and there’s a bunch of fusion jazz playing over montages of the different cuisines they’re trying. I’m thinking giggling on the Metro, getting a little too drunk, him putting his arm around her and her glancing at him during a conversation with Michelin chefs, and they go back to her apartment and he has to crash there because he’s so drunk.

Just vibes.

The routine of the kitchen was so consistent and exacting and busy and hard and alive, and I lost track of time and he died. And he left me his restaurant. And over the last couple months I-I've been trying to fix it 'cause it was in rough shape, and I think it's very clear that me trying to fix the restaurant was me trying to fix whatever was happening with my brother. And I don't know, maybe fix the whole family because that restaurant, it has and it, it does mean a lot to people. It means a lot to me. I just don't know if it ever meant anything to him.
