I just spent the last hour reading spoilers of s4 and honestly I'm disappointed but not suprised. How did we get here?! S1 and S2 were perfect. Not sure that s4 is worth watching tbh.

Anyone else waiting for spoilers before watching s4?
I am excited for s4, but knowing how s3 went, I am very nervous so I think I will wait for the spoilers before I go ahead and watch s4.
The Bear S4 Trailer
Is it me or is this trailer...meh? I don't know why but I was expecting more.
I have a feeling FX will announce this week that season 4 is coming next year or season 3 part 2 will be released soon.
Would a part two fix season three at all?
I’ve been thinking on this for a while. Especially since I had been seeing the hope on my feed that there’s a part two. I just can’t help but ask if it would fix anything? That means the pacing would shift but how could they make sense of it all?
I didn’t hate season three but I have been letting it digest and now I’m very confused at how they’d be able to pull it off. That would mean eight (maybe more depending on how this goes) more episodes for season three, making it a really long season.
I had hope for a season five. Though, if season three part two is officially happening, I don’t see them doing that at all. Season four could be its last but what’s the contents of season four that would make it satisfying for the audience to end it on? I can’t lie, I’m very confused on how this would go. Especially since it’s been said that the scripts weren’t finished?! How are they making scenes for an unfinished script?! Was that season three part two or season four?
The way the team has handled this has been a huge mess all around. The promotion definitely didn’t make sense this year (due to the fact that the actors probably don’t know what’s going to be rolled out). I just hope they do better in the future, even if season four is its last.
Maybe the magic trick was season three part two all along LMFAOOO.

This would be awesome to have part 2 sooner than later!
Carmy's phone did say Aug.7 when he checked his phone about the review and texts. It would be cool to get the 2nd part Aug 7 this year. But who am I kidding. Wishful thinking lol
Chef, your attention to detail is unmatched. I’m hoping August 7 will be the date s3 part 2 is released.
18 episodes were filmed this year
Y’all, Ebon revealed that 18 episodes were filmed this year and we only got 10 episodes, so will they release the other 8 episodes earlier as part 2 or wait until next year and add them to s4? I’m really hoping that they will release them sooner than later.
wait this is actually wild because according to liza (tina) they’re going back to filming in the winter and i saw a post somewhere (reddit maybe) saying that they’re still working on the scripts
i wonder if they’ll scrap anything they’ve filmed based on the reviews (once again, praying for the end of claire)
I hope they don’t scrap the other 8 episodes, I need them. We need them.

❤️ thank you for all the love since i started drawing these two emotionally stunted chefs. ❤️ i gotta go on an indefinite hiatus but all your kind comments and messages have meant so much to me and honestly, have encouraged me to be creative again after a long period where i simply wasn't. i really can't thank you all enough!
Almost can't believe there was no Sydney focused episode in S3. No one even talks about Sundae, Sheridan or even Brigade.
Though tbf, Sheridan was the only one that was more about her rather than her doing stuff alone after being abandoned in some shape or form. 🤔 *shrugs*
What do y'all think?
After watching s2, I was sure that Sydney will have an episode in s3 where we learn more about her so I was super disappointed that 1. We didn’t get the focused episode. 2. We hardly saw Sydney.
Claire POV is needed. It’s necessary!
At this point, I need to see Claire POV when it comes to her and Carmy’s relationship because Carmy makes it seem that everything was perfect. It’s just doesn’t make sense to me how she went from being giddy and telling him that she loves him to her walking out as soon as he said their relationship was a waste of time. Something is not clicking. The math ain’t mathing. Also she’s a doctor so wouldn’t she want to make sure Carmy is okay instead of running out on him? I strongly believe Claire saw a few red flags but ignored them, but when she heard him say those things, it was the last straw. Claire, what are the red flags you ignored? We the people want to know. We need to know.
not to mention how she reacted to Neil telling her that Carmy loves her??? I mean putting aside the fact that she’s at work.
the vibe I got was that she was exasperated with the whole thing. I don’t think she wants to get back together. maybe she deserves closure but it feels like she’s reflecting and trying to get over him
I wish Neil would just mind his business because he’s been trying to make fetch happen and it’s not happening.
I couldn’t watch that scene, I had to skip it but maybe I need to watch it so I can see Claire’ s reaction. From what I’ve seen so far, I think Claire is slowly and surely starting to loose interest as well but time will tell if she’s ready to move on.
SOUND ON!!!
Idk if I'm late on this but I only just noticed it. Pls listen to Carmy at the end, after he introduces Syd to Luca. I removed the bg noise and enhanced the audio
He introduces them saying "Luca, Syd"
Then he's quickly trying to get Syd to move onto saying hello to someone else. He points to this other person immediately and says "Will." But Syd's still saying a very warm hello to Luca so Carmy calls her name to get her attention!!! It hasn't even been 3 seconds 😂 This is the guy who trained Syd's good friend and colleague and worked with Carmy!! Why can't they say hello properly, Carmy?!!
He was trying to break that up real quick!! That greeting was too warm and went on too long for his liking! 3 seconds being too long for Carmy!!
I think @pudgetprincess was right in the replies of this post, Carmy was already aware that Luca could be a threat before Syd even got there. Carmy looked Luca's way just as he put his hand on Syd's back. He kept it there the whole time he introduced Syd to the table, telling her to "say hi", then looked Luca's way again before he removed his hand, making sure Luca had seen it. Then he introduces Syd to Luca and suddenly it's not "say hi" anymore it's ok Syd let's move it along there's other ppl here you know lmao. Carmy is actually hilarious! If we get jealous Carmy next season it's gonna be SO good.
Just when I thought I was starting to be free of The Bear, the hold just started becoming stronger.

Here are the red flags she ignored:
1. He gave her a fake number
2. She was clearly friend zoned in front of his colleagues.
3. She clearly watch him pined over Syd
4. She had HAD to pick up some tension between Carmy and Syd
She ignored it cuz she always wanted to be with him .
Also, fuck her for spreading false information about why they broke up . He was talking about himself and he was HAVING an MENTAL BREAKDOWN!!! Also, Claire he at least try being with you. I mean come on she is in medical school 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Wait, that’s what she said about what happened when Carmy was stuck in the walk-in? Honestly I skipped all the Claire scenes and the majority of the Faks scenes so I may have missed a few things in s3.

As annoying and repetitive some of the scenes in s3 were when I first watched it, the wonderful meta on here is making me realize how everything adds up. I’m starting to think that I need to rewatch s3 so I can truly understand it. I’m still annoyed at the lack of Sydney scenes though but maybe that was part of the plan?!?
GUYS, I CAN'T ACTUALLY BELIEVE I'M SAYING THIS, BUT WHAT IF THEY ACTUALLY HAD A GOOD REASON FOR JOHN CENA BEING CAST AS SAMMY FAK?
please bear with me (pun intended) and let me know what you think of my speculation under the cut~
Chef, this meta! Things are starting to add up for sure. Maybe I will give s3 a rewatch soon.
They knew as viewers we were hoping Carmy was heading to Sydney's place.
He better, because did he go for a walk and leave Sydney at Ever with the others when they were there together? Carmy has a lot of apologizing to do.
🎯
He DITCHED her after he invited her to this event with literal strangers that she was initally intimidated by (except for Richie but he stayed in the kitchen). She was lucky that she was able to gel well with their table of established chefs because he was not helping her commingle AT ALL, pretty much left her to fend for herself as he zoned out. Thank god Sydney is personable and Luca was there to assist because the only time we see Carmy speak to her aside from introducing her to the table is when he’s filling her and Luca in on the maniac boss before leaving the table and never coming back. Insane to think their last shared words this season were her calling his name, essentially begging him not to chase after his boss and also not to leave her there alone and yet he completely ignored her just like he had done this whole season after telling her he wouldn’t do that to her again after the walk-in incident.
He abandoned her.
From the viewers standpoint, he didn’t even say anything to her to let her know he left after speaking with both of his old bosses. I’m sure Chef Terry had to tell her that Carmy had left and he didn’t come to her after party for what we know. Hopefully it was intended that his walking was him walking to her place and maybe it picks up with him walking up to her panicking outside her apartment. It’s kinda far fetched but would be a good continuation if the writers have any sense.
Like you’re not going to ask her if she enjoyed herself? Not going to check if she was okay getting home? If not for any of those reasons than to just tell her about the review at least!
Carmy has a LOT of apologizing to do and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Good spot, Chef! I didn’t even realize that he left her again after promising her that he would not do it again right at the start of the season.
I am hoping Carmy will start to do better for himself and others especially Sydney, because he’s left her alone on different occasions since s1.
