A Victorian opal and diamond necklace, the seven opal and diamond clusters graduating in size from the centre, each consisting of a small old-cut diamond surrounded by four round cabochon-cut opals, each cluster suspending a knife-edge bar set with a single small diamond and terminating to a heart-shaped cabochon-cut opal, connected with six double-festoons embellished with opals and diamonds, the diamonds estimated to weigh ½ carat in total, all set to a yellow gold mount, with trace chain back section and a bolt ring clasp.
