go easy on yourself. life’s hard. don’t make it any harder.
hi so i’ve been seeing a lot of canadians sharing resources on the history of racism and anti-blackness in the us but not so much on racism in canada, past or present. i figured that, as a white person w access to a university database, the least i could do is compile some articles i’ve read for school or come across while doing research. this is not my focus of study so it’s not huge but it’s a starting point. most are on slavery in pre-confederation atlantic canada but there’s also a few on africville. if you have any other resources whether they be books, videos, lectures, articles, etc. please add them. here’s the link to the google drive folder!

Spent the afternoon reading, and completing some Physics homework.

my favourite thing is the random hate i'll get on my 4-year-old post about h2o jusr add water, the fact that it gets this many notes to this day is truly facsinating

Online classes are working for me, I’m starting to catch up on all the classes I missed earlier this semester and it’s getting easier for me. Spring has begun and the sun really energizes me! My plants also love it and my monstera is giving me a new leaf.
Please stay home if you can and be safe everyone!
Lmfaaooooo Norway just called the US a dusty ass bitch and they ain’t wrong
Day 1/100 days of productivity
I had a sleepover with my friend last night which was big fun, but now o have so much work to do. Right now I’m studying for my math test tomorrow, which I’m really worried about because this unit has been kind of hard and this test is the last big grade for the semester. Wish me luck!

i spent the last few days cleaning, got my chem quizzes done and a few discussion posts as well. i have school off for another week which is quite odd, and when we got back it's gonna be online. i'm trying to spend a lot less time watching the news since it stresses me out so much.
on a fun note, i went to an empty park late in the evening to take a walk and started northanger abbey by jane austen!!
i hope everyone reading this is taking care of themselves xx
Shout out to all my adhd peeps who now have to suffer the hell of self-regulating online classes
And another shout out to all my adhd peeps who are in quarantine right now and bored as hell
I wish you all the best!

online studying has been quite hard for me so far :/ hopefully i’ll get more used to it in the weeks to come because all of my current courses will be completed this way. in addition to studying i’ve been spending my time playing video games and watching netflix. how are you keeping yourself busy rn?
hey guys, here are some pictures of today’s morning study session. this year (for my degree in chinese studies) we haven’t done much written chinese, we focused ourselves more on chinese history, literature, oral and classic chinese, that’s why I’ve decided to study it on my own during my holidays! I’m planning to study 2 lessons every day (text, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and listening). so far, I’m doing an amazing job, I learnt 85 words today! I’m now going to read a chinese contemporary mini-story using my book “graded chinese reader 500 words” ☕ have a nice productive day!
