I enjoy making Forsaken characters because their beginning storyline is, for me at least, way more fun and informative. In most of them you meet your racial leader after you do some side quests and thats it. (Starting a Troll confused the Fuck out of me because I was like.... wait isn’t Vol'jin dead??? Because I wasn’t cought up)

Plus Sylvanas takes you on a nice horse ride and very conveniently tells you her back story. Shes much more involved than the other racial leaders, at least until you leave. I just find that nice.

How do you feel about Shadowlands coming and the whole Fae afterlife area? Think any chance at good Tyrande/Malfurian content there? Plus, I could be mistaken, but isn’t Cenarous immortal?? Lol why is his soul there leading the fae realm? (Just asking since you are my current nelf expert. Being the only person I know to have read Stormrage)

I would be SHOCKED if they actually had good Tyrande /Malfurion content in the game ever lmao, I def can’t remember anything that makes them not like, largely unlikable as a couple in game.  

 I think what they’re going to do in the Fae place in Shadowlands is some kind of Tyrande-only character story and her connection to Elune, probably will not involve Shandris or Malfurion, she’ll probably just talk to Cenarius who will talk to her about Elune, and maybe she’ll help like solve some kind of problem that ends up leading to getting the burned up elves out of the Maw.  I think at the best they will make some reference to the bit in Seeds of Faith when she remembers the High Priestess she knew, and they’ll have like the old high priestess show up and be like yes you love your people a lot and Elune and you are still the link between them and Elune, and Elune is corrupted and you have to uncorrupt her or smt.  Basically it will be boring and not involve her interacting with or being supported by the people she loves, and at the worst it will just be her being like “I was clouded by vengeance and now i’m not” or some shit.

The lore dudes I think said Cenarius and the other wild gods go to the Shadowlands when they’re killed, but just to build their power back up, and eventually they come back into the world since they are immortal.  Same thing happened with Goldrinn I think?

Good news everyone! Ion said in an interview this weekend that Calia will NOT be joining the Horde… which I think we can infer means she will not be leading the Forsaken as there are no plans to merge/remove the factions.

second even if she did.. how nice for calia that her raising has made her stop feeling anything bad then

one persons trauma was fleeing her country after it was ravaged by her brother who also killed their father and hid out in southshore for like a decade, i don’t doubt it was traumatic seeing that, i’m sure you could argue her death was traumatic but she died instantly

the other persons trauma was fighting a violent war, watching everyone around her be killed, being violently killed herself by a weapon that sucked out her soul, raised as a banshee (any good emotions are channeled into rage which is then used as a weapon), she’s under arthas’ control but still aware of what’s going on around her and shes’s forced to kill her own people

It should have been harrowing. It should have been ghoulish. But as Calia Menethil, changed but still herself, gazed at the king of Stormwind, all Anduin could think of were the naaru’s words: Calia was freed forever from the nightmares that had haunted her.

Sylvanas's spirit is wrenched away. The pain is so intense it leaves her soul forever torn.
