I love my friends Tania and Aarum who will tightly fold and shove things to the side to make room for me in their lives. I woke up in their house this morning with their dog asleep at my feet, family

I don’t want to organize with patience and strategy against data centers, I want to break everything bad, literally not figuratively. I want several hundred of us to go to these peoples houses, no one involved should be having a normal day. Why should the people killing our world get to sleep peacefully at night?

Ranch changed my life I built my first fire here by myself when everyone left to get beers and it got dark (with just six matches), whatever Spanish I know now, I only know because it was impossible to have real conversation without learning. I trust that I can do impossible feeling, physically demanding, or even scary seeming things. I learned to play my neighbors old guitar because at the end of the day everyone sits around and passes the guitar and sings their favorite boleros, and I hated that I was the only one who couldn’t take my turn playing and singing for everyone. I’m a lot less horrified of men and feel comfortable being demanding and clear, because it’s required when you’re around huge animals and it’s especially required when you’re riding them and drinking which everyone always is. I’ve learned everything I know about the valley and the river here by spending entire days along it with everyone who grew up alongside it. I can catch a chicken, I can break apart the alfalfa, I can dig little trenches around the fruit trees so they maintain whatever water they might get, I can bring the neighbors dinner, I can let them invite me over and treat me like a cousin I can do anything
