Never commissioned a person. What kind of references for the drawings do you look for?

Hello! The minimum requirement is a text description. What mood should the character and the illustration as a whole convey? What is the character wearing? What are their emotions? What is their posture like? What are they holding in their hands? What is in the background? I charge extra for a text description without references, as my understanding of your text may differ from yours; it takes several attempts and more mental effort to ensure our visions align

And images, of course. You can do this in any way that suits you: DM me the images (for ex, here’s a reference for his appearance, here’s what he’s wearing, here’s what he’ll be holding in his hands, and the sort of background I’d like) Many people create a Pinterest board with notes or a Google Doc with text descriptions and reference images

And for sure I'll ask you for more details if i need it!
