For my film, I decided to make a parody of nature documentaries and films that try to prove the existence of mythical creatures like Bigfoot, Mothman, and the Jersey Devil. By making myself the “creature” I interviewed my friends as if they were cryptozoologists, and consulted them on information about me and the memories and experiences we’ve had together. through this film, the viewer sees a part of my world through the words of my friends.

I am not an art person. For me, I just cannot understand the authors’ meaning without explanations. So I will just make some comments with arrogance and try my best to explain these arts. I wish I would not offend these authors. 

This is a painting of a woman wearing a kimono. I think it is interesting. It was painted in 1910 and that was the beginning of western and european cultures’ communication. Kimono is a Japanese style clothes. This represents the combination both cultures. And the woman is gently smiling. I like her. The painting is generally gentle and makes people feel relax. 

This French painting is about a festival. And I think it is quite stereotype. The colors are bright and people are happy. I think the season should be spring because of the clothes they wear and the green of the grasses. But it could be autumn due to the reason that many this kind of festivals are hosted in autumn.
