Honestly I don’t think this is like a cultural problem or anything guys. I mean I guess it asexuals it wouldn’t mean much but idk with my knowledge as a heterosexual, sex really DOES mean a lot emotionally. Like after you have sex with someone you feel infinitely closer to them and it really does take a relationship to a different level. I understand that not everyone feels that but I think most people do and that’s probably why we’re “seeing it” as the biggest thing you can do to show someone you love them. It’s placing an incredible amount of trust in someone and making yourself very vulnerable to them. It means a lot for most people, and I don’t think it’s very kind to minimize that feeling.
