Lightning is fucking weird and tends to vary by case to case from what I can tell. For me, it was like when you hit something wrong with a baseball bat--sort of that bone-deep jolt you get in your wrists/hands, except like, your whole skeleton. It was only for a second, and then next thing I knew I was on the ground and the only thing that really hurt was the actual spot where it hit me because of the burn. It was really bizarre.

But yeah no I like it a lot. Carson is my spirit animal and any instance in which he survives is perf, especially if he gets a kickass scar out of it.

Oh dear! That…just. Wow. I can’t even think of another word to say. Just. Holy fuck. I’m going to cyber hug you know. Because I honestly don’t know what else to do.

I honestly can’t see him surviving and not getting some sort of scar, ya know? Especially since it looked like such a violent strike. But I also feel you on the Carson surviving thing. I’m still so far in denial about the fact that he died in the movie that I’ve created a whole AU storyline with my girlfriend about it. xD Hence the graphic~

First, let's establish that your Carson edit is effin' beautiful and this is not a hate message. I just wanted to point out that those branching patterns after a lightning strike are called Lichtenberg figures, and they actually go away after a while. I was struck by lightning and had a nice one running up my arm, but it went away after a few hours. The burn scar would totes stick around, though. Super badass.

I’m really glad that this wasn’t a hate message. Because, I’ll be honest. The second I opened my inbox and saw that I had a paragraph, I was a little scared. 

I’m glad you like my edit though! Even if I’m a bit off on the accuracy. :D

But now I have a question for you… What was being struck lightning like?
