4/20🤕 The head injury is still the same. I still have dizziness and the headaches are still harsh, but three days ago was the first time I felt a bit better. Over the last three days, the headaches have had longer gaps and the painkillers are working a lot better than before. I had some neurological rehab sessions and in general I’ve felt more like myself. Yesterday and today I also got back on my feet and walked around a bit. After speaking to the doctor we decided that I can continue the resting at home. Apparently regular life things and moving around a bit can possibly speed up the reduction of swelling and bleeding. So as of tonight I’m back home. I have a pack of painkillers and an appointment set for my next CT scan in two weeks. Thanks for all the support and well wishes! 🤘 (at Kitamoto-shi, Saitama, Japan)

4月20日🤕 脳の傷はまだ残ってる。めまいもまだあるし頭痛もまだひどいけど、3日前に初めてちょっと良くなった気がした。 今日までの3日間、頭痛が来る間隔が長くなって、鎮痛剤も先週よりは良く効くようになった。 脳神経系のリハビリもやって、だんだん元の自分に戻っている気がした。昨日と今日は自分の足で歩くこともできた。 今朝主治医と話して、あとは家で療養を続けても大丈夫、と言ってもらった。寝たきりよりも日常生活の中で動き回っているほうが、脳の腫れや出血が速く治るらしい。 というわけで、今夜退院したよ。鎮痛剤を追加で処方してもらって、2週間後にもう一回CTスキャンと、診察してもらう。 サポートやお見舞いの言葉をくれてありがとう！🤘 (at Kitamoto-shi, Saitama, Japan)

This year, Tenjinshita park, little spot on the Banks of the Arakawa River with a mere 60 cherry trees rose to the top of my favorite hanami spots list. Beating out Morioka Castle (with its epic vews of Morioka City) in Iwate and Akagi senbonakura (1000 cherry trees) in Gunma. Both times I went there this year, I intended to stay an hour or two and I ended up staying till after the sun went down.
