Or intuitives are simply attracted to the internet. They flock to other intuitives like moths to a flame. I do not doubt a fair share of mis-types but I would argue intuitives are much more likely to be found on sites such as this. Or at least, more likely to be posting in this tag.

I've noticed a very large Intuitive-preferring population (specifically INFJ, INTP, INTJ, ENTP, ENFP) and an extremely small Sensing-preferring population, nearly nonexistent actually. What do you think causes this? Could it be that there are many mistyped people here? Perhaps Intuitive-preferring have a tendency towards this self-realization, what's-your-personality, feel-special sort of thing. But if that was the case, they would be Fi dominant more than anything. What do you think?
Well, if you if you are talking about just Tumblr users, then you are talking about a specific population. More specifically you talking about Tumblr users who know about MBTI. You are forgetting there are many other people who don’t use Tumblr or know their type in the world. It’s possible people who test that way are more likely to use Tumblr and be interested in something like personaily tests. Also I’m sure you aren’t tracking every tag on tumblr. Maybe you are interested/attracted to tags that have a lot of intuitive types. Sounding like a broken record now, but MBTI isn’t a serious personality test in psychology. It has no predictive abilities, it pushed for it’s marking, non the less it is still fun and people who think/act the same way probably answer questions the same way. But just saying I don’t think it’s possible to be miss typed. I like to think of it as getting grouped with people who have the same preferences such as feeling more energized after being out and about then being alone and visa versa.

But I don’t think that your point of “Tumblr” or even “MBTI-Tumblr” specific populations has any relevancy to the question being asked.
First point… Assuming that there are diverse types of people that actively use Tumblr, this “Tumblr population” you speak of is a good representation of the (not restricting to) national population as a whole. (I’m pretty sure though, that Introverts tend to use Tumblr, or just the Internet, in general more however. Idk, might be wrong. Just my observation.)
Moving on to the next point… People who took the MBTI, or as you call it, the “MBTI-Tumblr” specific population would STILL comprise of equal numbers of Sensing AND Intuitive. I’m sure equal numbers of Sensing and Intuitive preferring people have taken the test.
The difference is that Intuitive people are overrepresented in the “MBTI-Tumblr” specific population. ^ I don’t think you understood that.
My question is didn’t ask for background information, which you gave me plenty of, thank you very much.
My question is specifically asking WHY Intuitive people are so OVERREPRESENTED, of which explanation you didn’t provide me at all, no thank you.

Last point… Funny. I think it’s possible to be mistyped. I have friends who say they are P but are actually J. More often, I have friends who strut their Ni around, when really, they are Se. More than being mistyped, I think mistakes happen because of lack of information.

I think it's less a case of people being mistyped and more a matter of those types (mostly intuitives) being the most interested in being apart of this community and posting on tumblr about their experiences.

while i’m by far not the best person to ask on this, i think its the depth that N gives to everything. while S is sort of an ‘on the surface’ perception of most ideas, N provides explanations. N finds loopholes and plot points that S misses. while I have nothing against S at all, i feel that N has made most all of the advances in society up to this point, because of their tendency to read between the lines and to see depth in things, to be the one to ask “how can this be improved?” rather than “its fine like it is”. S is like a bystander, while N gets into the action. and who wants to be called the bystander? no one to my knowledge. humans have a need to always know more, and to improve and understand the world around us. S cant do that. N can. so in my opinion its because of N’s drive and their ability to see more than what meets the eye.
as for mistyped people, there’s always going to be a few people that mold themselves into their ideal type of person while taking a quiz or while around other people, and its true that some of these people pretend to be N when they’re S. it just happens. some people act like E when they’re I and vice versa. i can think of at least three people I know personally who parade as a J when they’re really P. my point is, many people have pretended to be someone that they aren’t because they think those people are better. a lot of my friends are S, and I agree with that. S’s do exist and act as S’s, its not that everyone WANTS to be N. there’s always going to be mistyped people out there, but S’s wanting to be N’s aren’t really the #1 problem.

As an INTP looking through the INTP tag, I understand your sentiments. However, sensors don't really care about this stuff. They have different interests.
Yeah, I was thinking about that, too. I think my questions now are: Why MBTI in particular? Why spend so much time in this topic? And shouldn't Fi Dominants be more interested in this self-realization/personality thing than Ni/Ti Dominants such as yourself?

Sup. So I have been scrolling through #mbti hashtag… and I’ve just GOT to point out that there are ABSOLUTELY NO sensing-preferring people here at ALL. Meanwhile, the INTJ, INTP, INFP, INFJ, ENTP, ENFP population is overwhelming. This leads me to wonder if there are many people here who are incorrectly typed as an Intuitive. For whatever reasons, I don’t know… There are many potential explanations. Perhaps they went along with the “cooler”, more “rare” option, whichever ones seems more “unique”. Or it could just be that Intutiters, especially Ni, have a natural tendency towards this self-realization, what’s-your-personality, identity sort of thing.
Or it could be that people here are not Ni nor Ti dominant, but are actually Fi dominant. I came up with this after observing, no offense to those who it pertains to, that the #mbti community here seems to generally be self-concerned, self-obsessed and have an interest in one’s own values, personality, and/or character. That is very Fi in my opinion. I could most definitely be wrong. Tell me if I made an error in my idea of the Fi function.
There are many potential reasons for this situation. But it all comes down to the point that there PROBABLY ARE many people who are mis-typed here.

i think heaven will look like earth. but since there is no sin in heaven, there would be no litter and pollution and stuff like that. also, nothing would be dry and dead like a desert. it would be really lush and green. also i think there would be a lot of crystal clear, fresh lakes and waterfalls. i think heaven would be like summer for eternity- just relaxing, praising our Lord, rejoicing, having fun. it would always be daytime because God will be our sun. i think animals and humans will live together in harmony so we would romping around with lions and deer. we wouldnt need to eat or drink because we would have perfect bodies. we would just be out there singing and dancing and hanging out with our Father, brothers and sisters. everywhere would be peace. and not like that silly “nirvana” peace that Buddhism promotes. a peace meaning no war, forever rejoice, love, friendliness. everything would be just so splendid.
