Tom and Emma talking about each other in 2017
Bonus:
That kind of disturbed them even further.

You Are My Glory - Qiao Jing Jing always on her phone 😬
You Are My Glory - I’m very curious now. Just how handsome Teacher Yu is. Xiao Zhu is full of compliments about him.
hi gorgeous earthlings! 😊
i recently created an art account out of interest. would appreciate it if i can get a follow for support!
as we all know, covid has made a huge impact on us since the beginning of 2020...and still going.... i have personally felt very stressed and anxious during those months because i have just graduated from university as a graphic design student. the long period of being in lockdown made me reflected on what i want to pursue in my career. i found myself losing interest in graphic designing for corporates. i’m just that type of person who likes to work at my own pace and to have the freedom to explore my creativity, and working for corporates limits this freedom.
im sure many others in their early twenties can relate to the dilemma of whether we should have an immediate job (that we don’t particularly feel passionate about [anymore]) for financial stability vs taking the time to find out what we really want to do in our life because, well, mentally speaking it just feels good to wake up everyday to be able to know that we’re doing a job that we really enjoy...
during this period, i began to draw a lot. it was basically the only thing keeping me sane and i cultivated a lot of patience from it. i also took a few freelance jobs to try to get back into my ‘graphic design’ identity, but i can’t seem to enjoy it as much as i used to. i’m still trying to find myself, to discover what i really want to do, and to understand where i want to see myself in fives years time and more. of course, it’s stressful because i need to find ways to make money to feed myself, right? yup...so i’m still freelancing without much enjoyment 😞
good thing is, on the side, i’m mentally coping with these dilemmas and stress by focusing on my own art because it makes me feel comforted. sometimes it feels like my brain never stops brainstorming for new creative ideas and it really bothers me to not make them happen. i’m constantly trying to improve my illustrations since i wasn’t able to use this skill a lot during my design studies and freelance jobs (a lot of what i do are packaging and publication stuff, so i didn’t have a lot of opportunities to explore illustration...i'm really enjoying it so far now that i have time to work on it).
i know i still have a lot to learn. so through my new ig art account, i aim to show my progress of improvement as i learn from other artists from the art community, as well as to share the way i view art and the way i choose to visually present it in my own style and aesthetic to a community who appreciates art. i hope to see some support from my tumblr friends as we learn together, grow together, and support each other during this difficult battle against covid.
/// if you read till the end, thank you so much! the best feeling in the world is to have someone willing to listen to you no matter if they can relate to it or not. so thank you very much!! ❤️
