OMGGG before i read the tags i was like "hmmmmmmmmm these look familiar like i've seen them tons of times"

after reading the tags no wonder it was so familiar!!! this brings so much teenage memories, i used to LOVE Bully (for HR purpose, bully the game, not the other one) ngl that game was morally questioning but it was fun 😂 have you ever played it?

i probably just exposed my age here based on my choice of game LMAO

YES OMG i love that game so much!! I played it when i was a kid and i can't tell you the amount of times i *accidentally* headbutted a random kid or runover somebody with a skateboard lol

i actually bought it recently on steam for the nostalgia and i forgot just how ridiculous the story was. what a classic game, 10/10

so um, idk if the fandom is still alive but remember when i said i was planning to do a High School AU for LITG? well, i revisited the idea and got inspired to pick it up again, so now it’s in the works. I finished writing the script last night and i’m in the process of drawing the panels. anyway, i can’t promise anything cause i don’t have a lot of free time outside of my job but i’m dedicated to finish this side project. here’s a little sneak peak of it

My CMM HCs for Episode 7 because that episode was disastrous and I’m promoting the Hope and Henrik are Best Friends post show agenda and tbh I want Hope to have a more positive post Villa experience that goes beyond what her and Noah had:

Hope wasn’t on the retreat, she was Climbing Killimanjaro with Henrik (she’s got experience with Cliff Diving, no way in fuck is she not interested in doing all sorts of adventurous stuff because she does mention that it’s a quality she desires in a partner during chats with MC.) and perhaps at first she was apprehensive but Henrik was kinda like “You’ve been doing really good recently and I think you deserve a break, even if it’s completely exhausting and you’ll be conked out from it for the next three months.” And ofc Hope knows how to climb bc that mf has been teaching her for a while, but not only is Hope having an adventure and having some fun, that’s a friend supporting another friend’s dream and Hope is all for that - Expect a lot of funny highlights on each other’s Instagram stories and a metric fuckton of instant camera photos of the whole ordeal.

On the call Hope could have a chance to offhandedly mention how she’s been getting help and Henrik being Henrik would chip in really excitedly all “You’ve been doing great and I’m so proud of you!” (🥺🥺🥺🥺) but it’s mostly them bickering over energy cubes, Hope scoffing because he keeps referring to it as “Killi Milli” and Henrik being all “We saw the Jelly thing on Chelsea’s story before, it looked grim.” While Hope retches in the background.

“Henrik don’t even REMIND ME- Did you eat it? MC, please-“

PLEASE show some support to the narrative writers, artists and UI engineers/continuously voice your displeasure for Fusebox Games’ treatment of them and lack of consideration of fan feedback for LITG on their social channels.

It’s been really nice to see people rallying around this on Tumblr, but Fusebox Games isn’t promoting on here. They are on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. If moving in the direction of Matchmaker and not taking in fans’ requests of more robust narrative in the main games is upsetting you, please make that apparent on those channels (NOTE: preferably on Twitter, where there’s a gamedev community supporting the laid off creators and Fusebox can’t moderate comments). 

They spent two years building up an illusion of being pro-diversity, pro-inclusivity and pro-empathy only to shy away when it came time to create a game that incorporates representation without sacrificing conflict and character development. Moving towards generic, soulless storytelling with the same tropes and prioritizes drama like we see in other visual novel games over multi-faceted characters and complex storytelling would strip away everything that made Love Island: The Game special in the first place. Let them know and don’t let them shy away from accountability!

I know I already have a post about this exact gif but the way he looks back at the viewer has just enamoured me I constantly think back to it when my mind goes quiet; it’s like he was caught unsuspecting while bathing nude in a life giving spring, and rather than flee he decides to play with you, In one quick little glance he instructs you to give chase through the babbling pool through the gentle curtain of falling water into a luminescent cove full of treasures untold.
