I am older and I hope just a bit wiser then I was before. I hope this blog will be a resorces for you. Small spells, book reconmidasions, and maybe a bit of shairing tea with friends. The Craft has been an amazing gift in my life. I hope to share a bit of what I have learned over the years with others.

Late night musings...

I can't help but think about life in these late hours. Where I was, who I was and where I am now. My craft once was a way to redirect my pain, an identity when I had lost mine. A shoreline when I felt adrift.

Times change, I grew.

Yet the way I see the world shifted. I found who I am, I learned to love myself more and more with each sunrise. I learned to find a meaning in small moments. My craft and what if brings me now has shifted and changed with me.

After all, Magic it the act of enacting change. Is it not?

I can not promise consistent posting. But I will do my best to be a bit more active. For one, I think its time to update my bio a bit.

Creative Writing Tarot Spread

Writers block bogging you down? Use this 7-card spread to help jumpstart your creativity! This prompt can help you generate a very basic storyline.

First, pull a character card! Decide for yourself what this means: will your character carry the traits of the positive meanings of this card? Will your character’s conflicts be brought about by the card’s negative meanings? Will your character look like the figure depicted on the card? Will they wield the item depicted on the card? (Note: if your story has multiple main characters, you may wish to pull a card for each)

Next, pull the plot cards! Pull a card for the beginning of your story, a card for the middle, and a card for the end. Again, let yourself decide what this means. Do these cards describe your character’s emotional state(s) as the story progresses? Do these cards describe internal or external conflicts? Do these cards represent other characters your MC will meet along the way?

Finally, pull your meat cards! These cards are the “meat” of your story. Pull one card for the main or most important setting of your story, one card for the main conflict, and one card for the resolution of that conflict.

Have fun with it! Remember that these cards are just tools, and this spread is simply to kickstart your brain. If you get halfway through the spread and come up with something on your own, or if you start writing and realize your plot is deviating from what the cards gave you, don’t stress about it! You write for yourself, not for the cards. Thank them for their help and continue on with your own imagination.

Hello,

It has been a very very long time my friends. Life has given me many ups and downs over the years. As Summer is in its full swing and my life has found far more peace then it has known in the years before. I am happy to say that I am back on Tumblr. I have soooo many fun things to talk about with you my old friends. New books I've read, oracle and tarot cards we can review together, fun herbs to talk about!

So some of you might be wondering where I went. I dropped of the face of the earth for a bit. Last time I was here I was in nursing school. Then I was going through my first year of nursing...and now...we’ll we all know what is going on. When not at work, I have been home working in my garden and doing things around the house. These daily tasks have taken me back to the root of my craft. Things like mugwort, Valerian root, and yarrow now spring to life in my green house. Alters have been refreshed and new teas mixed and waiting on my kitchen shelf for afternoon tea. It’s at this time that I want to thank all of you for staying with me. As spring grows into summer let our adventures together begin again 🌱🌱🌱
