My dear brother and sisters in Christ.
We ought to be vigilant, and not afraid of the times to come. There will be many evils and atrocities committed by those in government, in congress, in stores, in schools, in homes, and in churches. But we should not tarry nor squander our faith; exchange the Word we know for the actions of pure worry and conspiracy - better yet we keep ourselves awake and await the day of the Lord.
• 1 Thessalonians 5:2 - “For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.”
• Revelation 16:15 - “Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”
We can mourn the dead, mourn the lost, mourn the martyred, but do not mourn your soul to guilt and anxiety and insecurity, for our Lord knows what and who lies against His children - which are the wolves in sheep’s clothing, and the sheep in wolves’ clothing, that have come to scatter, mark, and maul His flock.
• Matthew 24:10-13 - “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
• Matthew 24:24 - For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
• Revelation 13:16-18 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.”
No matter who rules the world, whether it is Bill Gates, the Rothschild, and the supreme secret societies, and the elites: they are only able to be in power because God has given permission for this to be. He has given them and continues to give them enough grace to repent and turn from their evils before it is the time of Judgement.
• Psalm 75:7 - “But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.”
• Romans 8:31 - For God is with us, who can be against us?
• Galatians 6:7 - “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”
• Ephesians 6:12 - “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
• Revelation 3:9 - “Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but do lie — behold, I will make them to come and worship at thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.”
Let us not solely focus on the evils and principalities, but focus on the race ahead of us - enduring the lies, the schemes, the devices of the wicked. Let us focus most on the least of us: the poor, the widowed, the orphaned, the lost, and the afflicted.
Let us pray together, share sorrow together, evangelize together, rebuke together, forgive together, stay vigilant together, and be joyful for the trials, tribulations, and persecutions to come. Let us acknowledge the weakness of the body, but give into the strength of the Spirit. To not fall asleep in one another’s lap, but lay hands upon one another and be willing where two or three are gathered, beyond the temptations and sicknesses under dawn and dusk.
Let us not waver under the stresses and curses and abuses we will bear, but know we are preparing for His Glory to come! His will be done, once more, on earth as it is in Heaven!
