Sick. Thats how you started off the month. Sick, you hated being sick. The throwing up, the constant temperature changes. All of it was awful. You wouldn’t wish being ill on your worst enemy, the only good side was having Billie by your side, and all her attention on you. It was bliss, she was babying you.
“Baby” you whined out with a cough turning to look at her, she was sat on the bed playing on her Xbox, playing fortunate or Minecraft, you couldn’t exactly make it out from how blurry your vision was. Billie turned around and looked over at you.
She put her controller down and looked over at you “what’s wrong my love” she mumbles pressing a kiss to your forehead, “you hungry?” She asks, you shake your head and shuffle closer to her. “Do you want some love?” She smiled and open her arms and you shuffled your way into them resting your head on her chest, she pulled the blanket over and tucked it under your chin, she held you tightly and ran a hand through your hair.
“I love you.” You mumble softly, as best as your stuffed up nose would let you. Billie laughs softly and gives you a kiss on the bridge of your nose. She holds you tightly while resting her head ontop of yours. For second you don’t feel ill, you just bask in the comfort of being in billies arms. Then you sit up and start coughing, you get up and rush to the bathroom.
Billie comes in five minuets after you throw up, a glass of water and a bottle of Gatorade in her hands, she sets the Gatorade down and crouches down next to you in the floor, she rubs your back gently and shushes you as you start crying. “You’re okay, you’re okay..” she holds up the glass of water to your lips encouraging you to take a sip, which you take gladly. “Small sips love” she mumbles watching as you start sipping it. “Good.. you feel better?” You shake your head and push the glass away, Billie pouts and kisses your temple. You whine and fall back into her, she lets out a small huff and wraps her arms around you “I know love I know..” the two of you sit there for a while before you start falling asleep. Billie notices and helps you stand up. “Let’s go back to bed” a small noise of disapproval she chuckles and guides you back into the bedroom and lays you down in bed, tucking you in and kissing your forehead.
She walks back out of the bedroom and picks up the Gatorade she left on the floor, she comes back to find you passed out in bed, the Gatorade goes on the nightstand, soft music plays through the tv and Billie climbs into bed behind you, her arms wrap around your torso, he head lays just above yours, she pulls you closer and lets out a soft sigh.
