Hey y’all, sorry that I’ve been a bit Mia, I got to China and I’m looking for an apartment while also startingnwork, so I’ll be a bit busy until the weekend~
hong-green-bean93:
Minsung raises both of his eyebrows as Chaerin speaks. The alcohol rests warm in the pit of his stomach as he gives her an amused look. “I love you too with all my heart, but I sincerely have no idea what you’re talking about.” He sniffs and looks away with a soft huff. What is she talking about…
Brow furrowed, he tries to think about what she could possibly mean. Sure, he and Siwan were good friends, and they had a lot of fun together, but what is all of this about asking each other out? He sighs softly and downs another shot, his cheeks beginning to feel warm from the whiskey. But if there was anyone who understood him, it was Chaerin. If it seemed like he was hitting on Wan, he probably was, unconsciously. Something to think about…
“You should decide for it to be you, sweetheart.” He mutters. “They’d stay for you too, you know? You’re beautiful.” He gently pushes some of her hair behind her ear and kisses her on the cheek. “Want me to walk you home?” He asks softly, wanting to make sure she gets home safely, since walking alone in this town isn’t something recommended for anyone.
“i’m sorry for sticking my nose where it doesn’t belong. oppa,” she deadpans that last word but immediately realizes how ridiculous it sounds and shakes her head in fake embarrassment. “nope, nope. i tried it. failed hard. never again.”
“it’s true. i really am an angel right here on earth but i have to stay humble, you know?” she smiles at the cheek kiss and leans against his arm again now that she’s done lecturing him. minsung is warm and solid and comforting and loneliness has her mind venturing into places it definitely should not. beer goggles are something she’s had zero experience with and best friends are not supposed to be starring in dirty thoughts.
chaerin chides herself mentally. she’s supposed to be playing matchmaker with min and wan, not trying to match herself up with either of them. or both of them.
she knew she desperately needed to sleep and so did minsung. she’d be on much better mental footing after some rest, some black coffee and a big breakfast. “will you walk me home please minnie?” she requests and hopes none of her previous thoughts are filtered into her voice. “we can’t have granny falling down and breaking a hip in the dark.”
Minsung makes a face when she calls him ‘oppa’, shaking his head slowly in disapproval. “Please. Never again.” Content with his best friend pressed against his side, he simply listens to the soft, high lilt of her voice. “An angel, yes. Humble? Obviously not.” He teases. Chaerin suddenly feels a little tense, and Minsung looks at her curiously, but hesitates about asking.
Sliding off of his stool after reaching over the bar and putting the two shot glasses into the little sink behind it, he nods with a chuckle and helps Chaerin down. At this point, there is no one there but them, everyone else having gone home. Ever responsible, even when a bit tipsy, Minsung goes and makes sure all the lights in the back are off, that all the doors are locked save the one they are going to exit through.
Satisfied that it all seems safe, he turns off the lights, shoulders his bag, and returns to Chase’s side. “I would never let granny hurt herself alone, in the dark. What kind of grandson do you take me for?” Minsung offers her his arm like the gentleman he is.
But Mom, Ball is Life
hong-green-bean93:
“Thank you~” is all he says to the compliment, his eyes bright as he gives the other man more or less free reign, ridding himself of the t-shirt completely, tossing it onto the chair next to them. Minsung exhales a soft puff of air as he feels the soft, almost ticklish sensation of Siwan’s thumbs teasing the skin just above his waistband. He can’t help the smile the spreads across his face as the expression on Siwan’s as he’s tugged closer and his fly is tentatively undone.
Amused by the boldness, the stripper acquiesces and gives his jeans the same treatment as his shirt, dragging them down ever so slowly before straightening up and skillfully stepping out of them. Left now only in his black boxer briefs, Minsung takes a step back, picking up his jeans and placing them on the same chair as his shirt. His eyes are firmly on Siwan’s now as he pushes the other man’s knees gently back together before straddling them and moving forward until his calves are on either side of the bartender’s thighs, his knees on either side of his hips.
Settling comfortably, he raises himself up on his knees before swooping down low, so his face is level with Siwan’s crotch and his ass is in the air. His favorite move to perform on the amazing chairs that reclined just enough to make it possible. He makes sure to shake his rear to the beat, quite proud of it. Slowly making his way up, he keeps his face close to Siwan’s body, his lips and chin almost grazing the fabric of his nice dress shirt until they are face to face, noses almost touching. The proximity is intoxicating, usually because Minsung pulls away after half a second, giving his client a brief taste of what they can never have. His hands slide up Siwan’s thighs, stopping just short of anything fun, the front of his body just barely pressed against the front of the other man’s, those pretty muscles holding him in place, ready to pull him back at any second.
Against his better judgment, his eyelids flutter shut for a moment and he simply enjoys Siwan. The tight muscles under his hands, the heat radiating off of him, the sound of his breathing. With his usual customers, while he enjoys it, Minsung never lets himself indulge. For them, it’s all about creating the fantasy; putting a dream in their head and then snatching it away, time and time again. The point is to liberate, but also to frustrate. Give them a little, and leave them wanting more. But Siwan isn’t a usual customer and Minsung honestly doesn’t want to snatch the dream away just yet.
He watches Minsung with attention and his eyes follow the other like a hawk, taking in his every move with delight because that is one hell of a show he’s getting. And some would have inquired why the fascination when Siwan has seen Minsung take his clothes off countless times before at the shows; he has watched him work around the pole and the chair he sometimes uses as a prop during rehearsals. Yet, he supposes the feeling is different when he’s getting a private show and when Minsung’s attention is solely on him.
Siwan likes Minsung’s boldness and the fact that he is serious about his small show. It’s all about being seductive and tempting, which Minsung can be without having to work too hard, but Siwan is pleased by how serious he is taking his job at the moment. It bodes trouble, hopefully for the both of them, and Siwan can only follow the stripper’s movements with a small smile on his lips. He is sultry and beautiful; a true sight to behold.
Siwan takes in the sight that Minsung offers him which is probably not short from heavenly and he has to refrain from touching him when he sits down on his lap. He slides deliciously over and like that of a snakes’, his body bends comfortably and sensually against his own. Siwan has to bite his lip as he swoops down and if he was in a position that allowed him to, he would have smacked the stripper’s ass as it perks up. Siwan looks down, meeting Minsung’s eyes as he makes his way up, he feels the pressure of the man’s hands on his thighs and breathes against his lips as they are face to face. It’s easy to feel Minsung’s scent like this and it’s different from the days where he performs; the cologne less prominent, just the scent of his skin, natural and just as enticing.
He hasn’t been given permission to touch, but Minsung has been permissive all night and Siwan’s head is too dizzy to think about following rules. They are close, but he wants them closer somehow and his hands slide slowly up the man’s half exposed thighs, massaging them gently before continuing to their ass, squeezing it firmly and resting his hands there. He waits for Minsung to lead him because he is the one in control, as it should be, but he can’t help but smile cheekily when they are so close and Siwan makes sure that the tip of his nose touches Minsung’s; that his forehead rests against his as well and that he is taking in everything he can, channeling every sensation that threatens to send his body into overdrive.
Siwan’s warm hands on his skin feel so nice as they slide up his thighs. Minsung feels them on his ass and moans quietly before gently pressing his lips against the other man’s. It’s a chaste kiss, but one that he’s been wanting to give Siwan all evening since he had popped in all dressed up. Pulling away after a few seconds, he kisses along Siwan’s sharp jawline, down to his gorgeous throat. Brushing his full lips against that warm, sweet smelling skin, Minsung gives in and presses his body fully against that of the beautiful bartender.
Hes always thought that Siwan was rather attractive, since they had first met a couple of months ago. He was all sleek lines and powerful muscle, topped with a sweet face and charming smile. Precocious and nearly irresistible. Minsung kept an eye on him since then. To him, it was more about how...weirdly adorable the other man is, despite the setting. It’s nice to see. Not to say Siwan isn’t as drop dead sexy as the rest of the employees at Club Aura. The way he can work the pole effortlessly speaks for itself. As Minsung’s hands gently untuck and slide up beneath the shirt Siwan is wearing, he can feel that athletic body, hot and firm.
Choosing a spot, Minsung gently bites down on the skin there before sucking it between his lips and massaging it gently with his tongue, his intention to leave a mark that will turn purple and last for a few days. Something stirs in his chest and Minsung experimentally rocks his hips once against Siwan’s, hoping to receive a favorable reaction. Finished with his marking, he trails the tip of his nose up behind Siwan’s ear, nuzzling him there before catching his earlobe between his teeth and tugging gently.
hong-green-bean93:
“Definitely not. Just call me whatever you want, like you usually do, and I’ll continue to do the same. I’d never go for your face Auntie Chae. We’re gorgeous people you and I. Artwork must never be tampered with.” Minsung winks at her, pouring them both another shot, his free hand gently squeezing her shoulder and he turns his head to lightly kiss her on the temple. He never had any siblings, but if he had, he knows he would want a little sister just like Chaerin.
He can see that the mention of the rather cute and fuzzy happenings of the day weren’t helping her current mood, but the mention of their resident bartender seemed to have her perking up. A sly smile spreads over his plump lips as he replies. “A friend, huh? Well, you saw him today. He’s just fine. So fine…” Minsung makes a show of sighing dreamily and downing his shot. Beyond amused, he plays along.
“Who is this friend of yours and why do they want to know how he’s doing? You know…that man is a waste behind the bar. He should be on stage…what a pity…”
“lee minsung… i’m using your whole name so you know i’m super serious,” she mused and picked her head up from his shoulder, fixing him with her gaze. “i love you with all my heart but if one of you doesn’t ask the other one out soon, my head’s going to explode.”
so much for not badgering them! obviously, they’d be much more at ease if they could move at their own pace but she wouldn’t be herself if she didn’t poke at him about it. if there was anyone in her life who she felt deserved happiness, it was minsung and siwan. they were simply good people and that was something that was truly a rarity in her life. so she’d do anything in her power to play matchmaker and nudge them along. just a little bit.
“i’m done annoying you about it,” she added, gently elbowing him. “one of us has to have the cute and fuzzy things in their life so i decided that it’s going to be you.” chaerin considered taking another shot but figured she should probably get home able to stand on her own two foot so she placed the cap back on the bottle and pushed it away from them. “we should do a three-act-show. one night only, sold out crowd. they’ll come for you and wan and leave when it’s my turn. what do ya think?”
Minsung raises both of his eyebrows as Chaerin speaks. The alcohol rests warm in the pit of his stomach as he gives her an amused look. “I love you too with all my heart, but I sincerely have no idea what you’re talking about.” He sniffs and looks away with a soft huff. What is she talking about...

I’m a little tipsy, but there’s no better time to get to replies!
hong-green-bean93:
How is it that Minsung finds himself in these situations? His job honestly shouldn’t be this dangerous. Someone asks him to get information, he gets it, and they pay the price of his choosing to receive it. Doesn’t sound too hard, does it? Well, currently caught between a rock and a hard place, Minsung would not be inclined to agree.
It had started at a bar. The client had given him the required information: a picture of the target and a place that they frequented. Lucky for Minsung, his current target seemed to frequent the club he works at, Club Aura. He was in his element as he does his job, serving drinks every now and again and letting people touch him. After his performance on stage, he walks the floor as usual, in case someone wants a private dance from him, but his eyes are on the woman at the bar.
He sidles up to her, on the pretense of placing a drink order for a table of giggly young women with the bartender. Minsung smiles and introduces himself. Receiving the drinks, he winks and promises to come back, and he does. He starts a conversation at random, the best way to loosen up a target. They talk for a while, Minsung very subtly directing the conversation in the direction he had wanted it to go. Satisfied for the moment, he blows her a kiss and heads back up on stage to do his job.
When she leaves, he gets dressed and leaves as well, after a reasonable amount of time to put some distance between them. He needs the last bit of required information: where she lives, before he can call this a success. She rounds a corner a block ahead and Minsung does the same…only to find that she’s not there. Reeling from shock, he doesn’t notice the fist coming out of nowhere and hitting him in the face, the world going very blurry.
When he comes to, she’s standing over him with a knife, forcing him to look up at her. He can only see through one eye as the other one is gradually swelling itself shut. Cursing under his breath, he glares up at his target. “For fuck’s sake, you couldn’t knock me out with a blow to the back of the head? My face is my job! And you’ve ruined it!” Minsung can’t stop the shaking in his voice no matter how much he tries. He’s not a fighter. His muscles are legitimately for show, and with his arms cuffed behind the back of the chair, they were of no use anyway. “What-what do you want to know?”
the knife in her hand shifts slightly as noh haehyeon half-laughs, half-snickers. it’s humorous, almost endearing to see him trying so hard to act tough, especially when he’s tied expertly to a chair. in one swift motion, the knife recedes back into the sleeve of her tight-fitting shirt, and she laughs a little louder. her hand moves up to his head to roughly ruffle his hair, then moves down to the side of his face, cupping his cheek as she studies it.
“don’t worry, pretty boy,” she singsongs, though her eyes are still steely, “you’re still cute enough to do your job.”
haehyeon then lets go of his face to cross her arms over her chest. “that is, if you make it through today. a part of me is hoping that you won’t.”
walking to the side of the storage container, she drags over a chair, turns it, and sits right in front of him, her lips still toying with a smile that never quite reaches her eyes. funny, she thinks, how an information broker is asking her what she wants to know, and not the other way around. actually, this entire situation, in a narrow perspective, is funny; a stripper being an information broker? haehyeon has seen some queer jobs, but this is a first. giving it further thought, it’s also quite smart; people tend to spill their secrets with their sexual partners. it’s strange, but it’s a thing.
“what do i want to know?” haehyeon echoes, placing her elbows on the back of chair and her chin on her linked hands. “i want to know everything: who requested your services and gave you my photo to chase, what they wanted you to get out of me, and on what day at what time they approached you…”
her voice trails off. “i’m sure you get the gist.”
taking out her phone, she checks the time, then slips it back into her pocket. “you get exactly one hour, sixty minutes, to spill everything. if i’m not satisfied until your time is up, well…”
Sighing in relief, his head hanging now that she’s put the knife away, chin to his chest, he takes a few deep breaths in through his nose, trying to calm himself down. This is not the time to panic. If he is calm, he will be able to surely talk or negotiate his way out of this. His good eyes comes up to meet hers as she cups his cheek after roughly mussing up his hair, effectively getting him to look up. Minsung swallows thickly as she speaks, a sliver of fear working its way back into his eyes at her menacing words.
If he doesn’t make it through the day…Minsung has a lot of unfinished business in his life and dying today just wouldn’t do. There would be all the things he hasn’t said, all the people he would leave behind…and his poor, poor parents. He can’t do that to them. So the stripper steels himself, glaring out of the one eye that still can. He watches the woman, Haehyeon as he had discovered, drag over a chair and sit on it. Uneasy and impatient, he waits for her to say what she wants so he can give it to her, and get out of there.
He blinks at her request, his brows furrowing slightly. One hour to tell her everything. Minsung shrugs. “I don’t need a whole hour to tell you. Most of that information, I can’t tell you anyway. Because I don’t know. Some clients contact me anonymously.” The information broker says flatly. “So you’re going to end up dissatisfied in any case, leaving me at an unfair advantage.”
Clearing his throat, he shifts uncomfortably, the cuffs digging into his wrists and the whole position doing a number on his shoulders. “I get a manila envelope in the mail; no return address, no sender. It just has a picture of you and a typed list of info to gather. I think that was…Thursday morning.” Squeezing his eyes shut against the throbbing pain in his head and from the side of his face, Minsung sneers. “You’re pretty, but I don’t quite understand why they needed to know these random facts about you. Other than that, you just seem to be a pain. Literally.”
hong-green-bean93:
“But I’m literally older than you…” he grumbles before simply dropping the subject. It’s been an argument of their for years…barely. Minsung doesn’t care what she calls him, he just adores her. “I don’t mind that at all, Granny.”
As she presses closer to him, he can sense her fatigue. It must have been a long day at work. He gently squeezes Chaerin reassuringly, silently reminding her that he’s there for her, no matter what. He bites his tongue before he can say the age old words, ‘Switch over to stripping’, but that discussion had led to actual arguments and Minsung doesn’t want to fight with his dear friend.
“I’ve got you, babe. Tonight was an absolute mess backstage. One of my guys came to work so drunk he passed out before we had to get on stage, which almost fucked up the whole formation, but it turns out his girlfriend is pregnant and his brother took him out for drinks to celebrate. I couldn’t be too mad at a new dad.” He raises the shot glass in thanks before tipping it and his head back, and swallowing. “Delicious. Siwan said something stupid, but you know him. He doesn’t need to drink to do that.” He continues fondly. “Maybe it’s the fumes, maybe it Maybelline, but the shot that got thrown in his face was definitely tequila.”
“minnie, would it really make you happy if i started calling you oppa?” she sighed and lifted her head onto his shoulder, unable to resist picking at the argument one last time before she let it go. “honestly truly? you know i’d do anything i could to make you happy. except permanently disfigure my stunningly gorgeous face. that’s my money maker.”
chaerin fought with minsung more often than she ever had with taehyun but at the end of the day, she loved him just as much as her biological brother. maybe even more so. she knew he bit his tongue more often than not to spare her feelings and that meant the world to her.
she refilled her shot glass again, not knowing if minsung would want another but she definitely needed it. “a toast to the new family then. that’s… well, it’s not for me but good for them.” she quickly downed the shot, not even grimacing at the burn. all the talk of couples and babies and happiness made her want to finish off the bottle and any more she could get her hands on.
the mention of siwan had her raising her eyebrows but she kept the comments to herself. chaerin had watched them tease each other with great interest but if it ever went any farther than that between them, she’d never be the one to ask. as long as they were having fun, that’s all that mattered. she wasn’t about to mother him over it.
“how is wan anyway?” she tried to ask nonchalantly but was never very good at that, even while completely sober. “just asking for a friend.”
So fine...” Minsung makes a show of sighing dreamily and downing his shot. Beyond amused, he plays along.
“Who is this friend of yours and why do they want to know how he’s doing? You know...that man is a waste behind the bar. He should be on stage...what a pity...”
I think I replied to everyone and/or posted the promised starters. If I missed you, please let me know! It’s been a hectic few days.
But Mom, Ball is Life
hong-green-bean93:
Minsung simply gives Siwan a look, obviously not caring whether or not his explanation was exemplary. It was true, and that’s all that matters. “Thank you. The pot calling the kettle black, right here. Gigantic nerd.” He responds, shaking his head in amusement. “I’d like to see your precious Captain take on the Man of Steel.” Minsung mumbles indignantly.
The stripper’s gentle sways gradually becomes a series of rolls and twists, his body going this way and that, his torso undulating under the white fabric of his t-shirt. “I like the sound of that. What a generous customer we have here…” he says in a low voice, stepping closer to Siwan and leaning forward and placing his hands on the seated man’s knees, gently forcing them apart so he can stand between them. Maintaining eye contact, Minsung resumes his fluid movements, one hand catching the bottom hem of his shirt and dragging it upwards, inch by inch.
Biting down on his full bottom lip, he continues the torturously slow reveal until his torso is exposed, the t-shirt bunched up under his arms and at the base of his neck. Reaching forward, he takes Siwan’s hands and places them on his stomach. “Since you’ve agreed to pay so nicely, your dance gets to be…interactive.” Minsung takes a deep pride in the state of his body since he works hard to maintain it. Hands resting on the backs of Siwan’s against his skin, he gently guides them down so the other man can feel what he sees, the seemingly carved abdominals contracting and releasing. He stops at the waistband of his jeans, letting Siwan’s hands go.
Siwan can admit to his nerdiness any time, any place, but he will call out Minsung on his poor taste for heroes later – not only because he can hold the scoff he has in store for when he has to defend his beloved captain later on. If this was another bicker and banter moment, like those they have when Minsung is practicing his routine and Siwan is trying to distract him, he would gear up, collect all of his sassy remarks and throw them at Minsung, but now is not the moment. Not when he’s getting a show and for a second he thinks that Minsung is going to sit on his lap, but alas, a false alarm for now. He’s sitting slightly reclined on the chair when he feels hands on his knees. He accommodates Minsung after he parts them, welcoming the closeness that comes out of the action and looks up, now that their positions have switched.
He relishes in the vision of the exposed skin in front of him and both loves and hates how slow the fabric rides up, revealing the stripper’s navel, his well-defined muscles and as he stretches more, Siwan can count the dips on his sides. (those muscles are not easy to get and secretly he wants to ask Minsung just how freaking much is he working out but also he kinda wants to touch them – just to see if they’re real). And dreams do come true, his brain supplies, once his hands are taken and gingerly placed above Minsung’s abdomen “How generous of you.” Siwan gives the man a grin, not shying away from the touch in the least as he’s given guidance down the man’s torso. Siwan can feel it under his fingertips, though, every dip of his muscles and how firm they feel like he has been carved and sculpted so beautifully to match some impossible ideal of perfection.
“You feel amazing,” he states, unabashed about his words because compliments are to be given after all. And even after his hands are set free and Minsung’s arms are now parallel to his sides, Siwan’s hands remain where the strippers’ have left them before rubbing his thumbs on the naked skin a few times. He tilts his head slightly and if someone were to guess, that’s a look of curiosity right there, but also of mischief written on his face. His fingers slip through the loops on the stripper’s jeans if only, to tug him slightly before he’s back on thumbing the button only to undo it after. And then he eyes the zipper, hand hovering over it for a moment before he unzips it, holding off the temptation to tug the piece of clothing furthermore.
@jaehwcs After his stage performance that evening, and after collecting the tips from his underwear, Minsung Heads back onto the floor and coaxes the generally already intoxicated customers to have one more drink. He goes to the bar to order for them, winking cheerfully at the bartender as he does so, scanning the bar stools for anyone who might want a private dance with Club Aura’s prettiest stripper. On his second round of drink collections, he sees a man that looks familiar, but Minsung isn’t sure from where. The stripper is generally pretty good with with faces, seeing as that’s a part of his side job, but he can’t place him. Mildly frustrated with himself, he puts on a cheerful smile as he delivers a round of drinks to a rowdy table of 20-somethings. He doesn’t even notice his ass getting smacked, so focused is he on remembering who that man is. A few minutes later, it clicks. Minsung has seen this man’s face before on the picture that is sitting in the pocket of his jeans in the back room. Someone had given him a job this morning, sending him the photo and a list of known associates that he hadn’t gotten the chance to read yet. What a stroke of luck! That his newest target is right there. Genuinely happy, Minsung walks over under the pretense of reaching for some napkins and flashes the man a smile. “Hey there handsome~ How’s your evening going so far?”
» well, shit, @hong-green-bean93
if she despised anything more than backstabbers, then noh haehyeon could say with confidence that she loathed spies. spies were the absolute worst; not only were they only looking out for themselves, but they filled their stomachs on censored information of others, prying into people’s privacy and sticking their noses into other people’s business. spies made her skin crawl and her fingers instinctively reach for the knife she always had on her somewhere, eyes hardening and lips pursing into a thin line.
she had her knife with her now, the sleek metal glistening under the creaking light of the storage container as she played with the blade. the handle danced between her fingers skillfully; this knife had been with her since she had been eight, and was her best partner, aside from her ability to talk her way out of sticky situations. her gaze fiery and her jaw set, haehyeon walked a few steps forward, the metal floor of the container clanking underneath her boot heels, toward the young man that sat tied to a hard chair, hands in cuffs.
with the tip of the blade, haehyeon flicked the blindfold off of young man, whom she had already delivered a winding punch to the face to; she remembered, with a twinge of anger, how he had tried to weasel information from her earlier. subconsciously, she cleaned the edge of the blade with the hem of her shirt before sliding it under his chin, the tip dangerously close to the soft skin of his neck, forcing him to lift his head.
“you might have noticed,” haehyeon grounded out, tilting her head to the side, “but i am not a person of patience.”
she leaned forward slightly, pressing the knife slightly closer, as her face neared his, “it’d be in your best interest to answer my questions to the best of your ability.”
She rounds a corner a block ahead and Minsung does the same...only to find that she’s not there.
@hong-green-bean93 (continuing cuz xkit is being a butt)
“there’s a time and a place to call someone oppa but i hate what it’s turned into.” chaerin shakes her head and shudders in disgust. “nope, you’re just gonna have to settle for being my cute little minnie.”
she snuggled in closer to him, happy to be close to him after a long and difficult day. minsung was really the one and only person in her life she could rely on to be there for her, to listen and understand and not judge her. she definitely couldn’t talk to her brother about work. taehyun didn’t like her working at aura at all but he didn’t mind reaping the benefits of her co-workers and connections.
“i want all the gossip. did you have any cute customers tonight? did anyone get drunk and say something stupid? or try to leave without paying? i need a distraction in the worst way right now,” she sighed, taking the bottle of alcohol and pouring them both a generous shot,
“But I’m literally older than you...” he grumbles before simply dropping the subject. It’s been an argument of their for years...barely.
But Mom, Ball is Life
hong-green-bean93:
“…Its cute that you immediately assume I meant you. But whatever. You can be the prince of darkness. That way no one will blame me for anything. It was ALL the Devil’s fault.” His eyes twinkle as he subverts Siwan’s presumed win. “And seeing the way you make deals, they’ll be hiring a new Satan pretty soon.”
His fingers gently stroke the pages of his book at he reaches for it, just to have something in his hands as he listens to the fascinating explanation of the difference between being hot and being pretty. Rolling his eyes as his vision is partially obscured by gold, he raises a single eyebrow at his coworker. “You know I’m hot because I’m hot. You know I’m pretty, because I’m pretty…Your Science is flawed.”
“Both, but you’re right. Technically, I got both.” He watches Siwan flounder and look for the mask that is already in his hand, laughing softly and taking it from his friend. “Thank you~ And your impression was passable. Batman isn’t a look, it’s a feeling. You have to feel it. You are vengeance. You are the night. You. Are. BATMAN.” He stands as he finishes that sentence, his voice reminiscent of Christian Bale’s Batman.
Winking, he puts the mask on and picks up his phone, scrolling through his music before he finds a nice hip hop remix of a Beethoven song, pressing play and gesturing at Siwan to sit in the chair he had just vacated. “You can pay me in pleasure, information, or two free shots tomorrow night. Up to you~” Feeling the beat, he bobs his head along with it, his body slowly beginning to sway.
“It’s cute that you let me win every time we play.” he offers the boy a grin as he tilts his head quickly, all intent to look both cute but sounds exactly like the little shit he is. Minsung isn’t one to drag on long discussions of who does what and who wins what, unlike Siwan who likes to always come out on top of things. Maybe it’s his forever competitive nature, but he likes to win at everything. “I’d fit the role though, my deals are always the best.” ‘cause he always wins of course and no one can make a deal with the devil without losing in the long run.
“You’re terrible at explaining things, has anyone ever told you that?”
He doesn’t want to comment on Minsung’s nerdiness more than he has already in the past few months since they’ve known each other, but he can’t help to be entertained by the passionate impersonation. “You are a dork.” he supplies the compliment to the previous sentences, way too amused for his own sake. “Too bad I’m much more of a Marvel fan, sorry batboy, but if you can channel captain Rogers then you got me.”
He scrambles to the chair as instructed, long neck craning to take a glance at the song playing on the man’s phone. Siwan is way too familiar to the classical genre since he’d been listening to it all his life (willingly so and not) especially when he did perform his routines to most of the famous pieces. Nonetheless, now he’s much more interested in the private show he’s getting, so he makes himself comfortable in his seat, looking up at the man as he starts to slowly move. “I’ll indulge you in all three if you do a good job, so how’s that for motivation?”
What a generous customer we have here...” he says in a low voice, stepping closer to Siwan and leaning forward and placing his hands on the seated man’s knees, gently forcing them apart so he can stand between them.
“Since you’ve agreed to pay so nicely, your dance gets to be...interactive.” Minsung takes a deep pride in the state of his body since he works hard to maintain it. Hands resting on the backs of Siwan’s against his skin, he gently guides them down so the other man can feel what he sees, the seemingly carved abdominals contracting and releasing. He stops at the waistband of his jeans, letting Siwan’s hands go.
When the man stands up, Ryuu takes a small, slightly wary step back. As curious as he is, the young man isn’t stupid. There was clearly something about his partially inebriated customer that made him a little dangerous. Remaining silent for the time being, he simply raises both of his eyebrows and waits for the man to do as he said and introduce himself. Taking the business card, he reads it rather slowly, sounding out the syllables in his head as Yeon speaks.
Blinking as he tries to make out the more complex words in that sentence, he nods slowly when he gets the gist of what the other man, apparently the leader of some sort of street gang, means. It simply confirms his first impression that this man is not one to take too lightly. The sudden laughter causes Ryuu to tilt his head in confusion. Had he missed a joke? Ah… “You did very well.”
He says neutrally before bowing politely and taking one of his own business cards out of his pocket. He hands it to Yeon with both hands. “I am Ryuu Shinji, of the Osaka Yakuza, owner of the Bottom Line. Pleased to meet you.” Ryuu makes no mention of his position in the organization, simply his affiliation. How lucky was he to have met the head of one of the gangs here!
Yeon is a very perceptive person, even when drunk and he notices the other man trying to keep up with how fast he talks. He combs his brain and tries to remember what Japanese he knows. After sliding the other mans business card in his pocket he smiles and says in slightly choppy Japanese, “Thanks, It’s…nice to meet you Ryuu.”
“Osaka huh, I’ve met a few of your guys before, not in the best spots I’ve ever been but they seemed allright. Very loyal, and that’s what’s important these days. Sorry if my Japanese isn’t very good.”
Yeon starts unbuttoning his shirt and blurts out “Oh by the way I’ve got a gun on me so don’t be too alarmed.” He finishes and untucks his shirt. Pointing to a spot right next to his abs above his waist he mutters “I think this might be a good spot for what I have in mind”.
Ryuu’s eyes light up when the other man starts speaking Japanese. Touched by the gesture, seeing as the other man’s Japanese seemed to be as good as his own Korean, he gives him another smile, this one more genuine. “Nice to meet you too.” He responds in fluid Japanese.
Moving closer, he begins prepping the needles and ink, slipping on a pair of latex gloves as he listens to what Yeon has to say. “That’s very nice of you to say. Things are getting better though, before long we should be dominating even the Tokyo Yakuza. And your Japanese is fine. I appreciate the effort.” He finishes sincerely, snapping the first set of needles into place on the tattoo gun.
A sly smile spreads across his lips as he reaches out to touch the indicated spot. “Don’t worry. I have a gun too. Great minds, and all that.” He switches back to Korean as he continues. “Tell me about your vision. ‘Crowns and stuff’ isn’t really much for me to work with.”
@chverins
It was the end of the night at Club Aura, meaning it was about three in the morning. The other employees are packing up their things and going home, but Minsung has swiped a half empty bottle of whiskey from the bar and is looking for someone to share it with, not quite ready to return home himself. Spotting a potential companions, he waves his free hand cheerfully at her.
“Auntie Chae!” He calls out as he approaches her. “How about you, me and this bottle of Jack have a nice little chat, hm? It’s been ages…” he gently raises and shakes the bottle in his hand, the dark amber liquid sloshing invitingly again the glass surrounding it. “What do you think, hon?”
“auntie chae?! damnit minnie, i’m only 22. you make me feel like a little old lady!” she pulled a face and mumbled under her breath but he knew well enough after years of friendship that she was only giving him a hard time and could never stay mad at him for more than about .5 seconds. “it’s a good thing i love you. you can make it up to me by passing that jack my way and filling me in on all the gossip.”
she’d definitely earned her money that evening and felt both mentally and physically exhausted. sometimes, you just needed your best friend to talk to and adding in some alcohol only sweetened the deal. chaerin parked herself on a bar stool and patted the seat beside her so minsung would join her.
“at least i’m still devastatingly gorgeous though, right? even for an old lady?”
Hopping onto the barstool beside her, he passes her the bottle, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he shrugs nonchalantly at her complaints. “I call you auntie because you refuse to call me oppa. Retribution.” Sidling closer so that they are shoulder to shoulder, Minsung rests his head on top of hers, his cheek pressing against her hair.
“The most gorgeous of all the old ladies, I promise.” He says solemnly as he nuzzles his face further into her hair. “As for the hot gossip, who do you want to hear about? Coworkers? Strangers? Your neighbors?” He wiggles his eyebrows even though he knows she can’t see him
