It wasn't important, he thought.
It wasn't important that he wasn't chosen. It wasn't important that he's still here while HE was in his place. It wasn't important that he worked so damn hard for this, only for them to toss him aside in the prospect of more old money in their dimond encrusted pockets.
It wasn't. ...It...it wasn't... .
He cut himself off as he let his mind levitate, floating away up into the cosmos as he tried to calm down. It worked for a little bit, his mind quieting in the face of his plight. But eventually, like all things in space, it was sucked into a black hole, void of light. Void of hope.
He wondered if he could have ever even been considered as the chosen. What could have been. He pondered over his sick joke of a life, and scoffed quietly to himself as he felt hot tears trail down his cheeks, unseen in his dark room.
There was no point though, dwelling on it. So, stewing in his pain and misery, he rolled himself tight into his bedsheets and screwed his leaking eyes up to try and stem the flow.
What was the use of crying if no one was around to comfort him anyway.

Not gonna lie, I hate posting art here because the traffic for my art is pretty non-existent, unless it's tied to a major fandom. Even then, it's barely mediocre.
