He could feel the man pull him closer. Was something wrong? He looked up at the other, thinking about if he should ask or not. Konohamaru stayed silent for now.

He looked both sides as his heart thumped a bit faster through his chest. There was a sudden and quick sound in one of the bushes. Itachi immediately took out a kunai from his long cloak and threw it towards the sound. A strange and dark shadow came out of the bushes, which Itachi could not make out what it was.

The boy's head jumped to where the sound came from. Was something watching them? He watched as the kunai was thrown, then the figure walk out. "What's that?"

"Ok. O think I’m good with that…" He was thinking whether or not he would wear out some time during the trip. Hopefully he didn’t.

The Uchiha nodded once as grabbed the boy’s wrist lightly. He gently tugged the small and bony wrist as he walked slowly, waiting patiently for the child to catch up on his speed.

With the tug, Konohamaru started to walk so he wasn’t left behind by the other. That was the last thing he needed to happen.

As they finally walked the same pace, Itachi had a strange feeling that they were feeling followed. He activated his Sharingan just in case and looked around the rustling bushes and tall slender trees with a cautious look. He pulled the boy closer to him.

The man chuckled, but there was still a bit of a sorrowful tone in his voice. “We are not far…just by five through six miles I’m sure…” He looked back up at the silvery moon, which seemed to shine higher than it was before.

The man stood up and looked down at the child once more. “Let us go now…We must not let distractions get in our way…” He smiled, running his slender fingers through the child’s dark hair smoothly.

The boy nodded. "Right." He couldn't help but smile back brightly.

"Ok! Lets see of this works!" Konohamaru had a Nazgùl outfit on. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" With that, he had 8 clones, totaling nine Konohamaru's dressed as Ring Wraiths.

Hinata smiled as she wrapped her arms around him protectively. She closed her eyes as one hand ran through his hair slowly again and again.

He curled up a bit, eyes closing, and a smoke still on his face.
