🍬currently working on: i have the long term project of my custom blaseball: wild cards decks. i've designed the mints, the fridays, the spies and the flowers, and i'll probably get them printed once i've finished playtesting them

My wife pointed out to me the other day that apparently most people were literally only taught how to say Sorry and not how to Apologize or even that they are different things so here.

If all you ever do is step 1, not only did you not apologize, but people will rightfully stop believing you and start getting pissed or hurt.

It is slightly concerning to me that a number of people in the UK are not aware that the Thames has an extremely strong and dangerous undercurrent that will swiftly drown you if you attempt to swim in it. I understand that the pollution is also terrible but please know that it’s not just the pollution. It will kill you. You can’t swim in the Thames, it will drag you under no matter how strong of a swimmer you are. I’m really not trying to be the fun police here, a lot of rivers in the UK are deceptively dangerous. Even rivers that appear to be simple streams can kill you. The River Wharfe is the most dangerous river in the UK and some areas of it look like innocent streams to paddle in. Everyone who has ever set foot in it has drowned. Please y’all I’m tired. I’ve had everyone and their uncle telling me that I’m being too strict about all rivers, lakes or what have you, but my post specifically mentions both the Thames and the UK for a reason. Our rivers want to kill you.

gang im trying to lock in with artfight but honestly im going through a bit of a tough spot with art :( everything I draw looks really passionless and I hate that this has happened in Art Month of all times… like I wanna draw everyone’s ocs n make them happy but nobody will really enjoy lifeless art from a mediocre ‘artist’ who can barely enjoy drawing at all. but I want to draw people’s ocs anyway. so i guess they’ll have to deal w seeing shit art haha

I feel so bad about being mad at them n having a problem w them cs they apologised but not for everything and when I complain it’s either to a) friend who is sick of me complaining ab this person to them b) friend who is sick of being in between me and them or c) friend who has no idea who this person is

idk I feel rly bad about complaining. they aren’t an ass to me anymore but they won’t even acknowledge half the shit they said to or about me, or the way they outed me to people, and I don’t think they even notice the casual racism their friends spout and it honestly disgusts me but I know they’ll see it as an attack if I criticise them and I can’t risk them being suicidal again
