I hate everything about my job. The only thing holding me together is my knowledge of my higher purpose. Soon I will be making 6 figures helping to end unnecessary human suffering.
I’m going to use this blog ass a school time dumping ground because I already know that med school is about to be a bitch . Plus I don’t want anyone calling my momma talking about they’re concerned
💖💰So if you’re looking for some Black owned spiritual services in Boston to support….!!
(When I discover more I’m gonna edit and add to this)01/18/2019
🌹Botanica San Miguel (146 South Street, Jamaica Plain, MA)
Botanica San Miguel (146 South St) is 5 minutes from Forest Hills Station and is Black owned (the owner Maria is Dominican), sells EVERYTHING you would need in any ATR/ADR tradition or religion, really good prices.
Friendly staff that give good advice and pointers. They sell candles (chime, novena, 7 day, saints, figure, large bucket looking candles lmfao) statues (saints, orishas, etc), quartz, dried herbs of all kinds ($3 a bag), oils and baths, colognes, rosaries, and they make their own spiritual baths with fresh herbs. Always clean and the space is very beautiful!
They also do consultas/spiritual consultations (about $25). Maria is extremely fucking talented, she is the real fucking deal, she’s kind as fuck, no nonsense and will tell you like it is.
Don’t be afraid to go in if you can’t speak Spanish, the workers and Maria also speak English and are very patient!
They don’t have a website but:
Their Yelp
Faith’s Naturals (JP location: 66A South Street. Mattapan location: 1151 Blue Hill Ave)
Faith’s Naturals (one location is up the street from the botanica^ and smaller, then she has another shop on Blue Hill) is a Black owned natural beauty products shop, but she also does energy cleanses/reiki sessions at her Blue Hill location!
She also sells things like Palo santo, crystals, yoni eggs, yoni steams, tea blends, etc. Her beauty products are natural and organic! Haven’t gotten the chance to stop by and buy something but I really want to!!
You can also support her by buying her products on her website: faithsnaturalsbeauty.com
I’ve been going through such a drastic and life altering transition and I’m on the other end of this particular journey feeling firmly rooted and sure

The latest book to be added to my collection! Unlike so many other books on root work this one was written by a black woman. This book has been so much more than I was expecting. It’s pretty much a text book filled with amazing interviews and stories from African American people who grew up with root work being an every day part of their lives. It’s so much great information! My only wish were that the photos in the book were in cover. I’m so excited about this book and still have a long way to go before I’m done reading but I really do suggest it to African American witches out there who want to know more.
i absolutely support march for our lives but please recongize how racism comes into play. the media never supported BLM like this, the public never did, and sure as hell not everyone marching today did. if you’re out there preaching for keeping kids safe from guns, u better not be forgetting all the black kids who have lost their lives to them from police.
